Inspired partially by those Cracked articles that listed some of these and partially from seeing hilarious ones on my own, post here some hilarious reviews of products from Amazon.

To start, the Amazon review (as in the one near the product description, not one by a customer...so I guess those are allowed in this thread too) for Derek & the Dominoes' Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs. It is both the funniest and most dickish thing ever.

Layla stands as one of a handful of pillars of classic rock. The short-lived ensemble that was the Dominos provided an outlet for Eric Clapton to vent his then unrequited (and secret) passion for the wife of his best friend, George Harrison. Romantic anguish inspired Clapton to write and collect an embroiling and interconnected song cycle. Meanwhile, latecomer Duane Allman prodded Clapton to tear it up on guitar, so as not to be overwhelmed by his even more talented foil. Of course, Clapton eventually won the hand of his lady love. And then he divorced her. Sometimes real life messes up a good plot line. —Steve Stolder

I usually only read Amazon reviews for textbooks I buy online.

It annoys me that every once in a while there's a bad review aimed at the supplier, about how the book was late or whatnot, which has nothing to do with the quality of the product.

She was a tall, statuesque redhead. Course she was a bit violent but all in all I'd give her 4 stars. Lost points because she shot my tv with an arrow.

...oh my bad I thought we were reviewing Amazons. tongue

[up]Clever.

[up][up]Yeah, I see that on a LOT of things. For some reason, people don't seem to get that if they have a problem with the supplier, the proper channel to address this is not in a review of the product itself. I remember even today I saw on the page for a guitar I was considering buying , there were four reviews. One was complimenting how fast it was shipped. Two explicitly said that they don't know anything about guitars so they don't know how good or bad it is. The other was was all like, "WELL THIS WAS A GIFT FOR SOMEONE SO I DUNNO DERPY DERP DERP!"
