I KNOW I CAN'T BELIEVE IT MYSELF

-flails-

Although I still need to get the tickets...

Hey, I thought you had the tickets already, judging from your post.tongue

Good luck in getting them. You'll need it.

[up]As soon as it was announced, her website and the tickets websites crashed in a few minutes.

I suggest looking for the tickets through any possible (and legal, of course) means. Immediately.

Yeah, you'll need all the luck.

But the tickets aren't on sale until the 28th!

[up] Ah, ok. Still, I have the feeling that you'll have to stay in the ticket line as soon as possible. Perhaps even camping outside...

Aren't they available online? If they're not, I'm S.O.L.

Yes they will be available online. But I can assure that, of the three websites provided in the news article I linked, only one is working properly.

I'm just saying: Be prepared and develop plans to get the ticket (time, transportation, etc.)

Which one is working properly? Only I don't actually live in England. >_>

Here.

It's best to prepare your journey to England and all the transportation to get the tickets, then. Kate Bush is to England what Bob Dylan is to the US (in terms of national importance), so the English are going crazy.

Wait, don't we print them? I don't know why I have to go to England to actually get them. @_@

That, I don't know. Start asking and checking with the associated ticket places for information, I guess.

One last thing: When it says "on sale at 9:30", is that British time, or Eastern time?

British time. Greenwich Time, to be more precise). I think that's the one most likely, considering it's in London.

So...I'm gonna wake up at five o'clock to get Kate Bush tickets now. I'm fine with this, but I don't think that my mother will be.

Hold on. If you use the the current UTC, you'll have to get the tickets at 4:30 AM. Here's where you can make the calculation.

I've never actually bought tickets before, though...I'll try my best.

Hallo everyone, I was working all day yesterday and so was totally unaware of the reaction, apart from friends who'd told me it had all gone bonkers....I am completely overwhelmed and genuinely shocked by the incredibly positive response from everyone. Thank you! I am however rather concerned at some comments that have been passed on to me and I feel I should clarify my position.... The image that was chosen to advertise the shows originates from a conceptual piece called The Ninth Wave that was released in 1985. It is about a woman who is lost at sea but is rescued in the end. Months ago I thought that, as part of the show centres around this musical piece, it would hopefully make a dramatic shot. The timing is really unfortunate. There is absolutely no connection with the current tragedy that is heading the news and I apologise from the bottom of my heart if this has in any way upset or at all offended anyone. Thank you again to everyone who has responded so warmly to the announcement of the shows. With best wishes, Kate

So that's a Ninth Wave performance confirmed, then hell to the fuck yes!, please let this end up on some sort of Blu-Ray release, oh please.
And seriously, people read way too much into things. She was absolutely lovely about it, though.
