Isn't Temple still unbeaten with the Irish left on the schedule? Think it's a little early to call that.
Anyway, I will say that we had a hopeless task this week, though the way we wilted in the fourth quarter is... disconcerting.
Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!Going from making amazing punts all game long and keeping Sparty pinned deep to fumbling away the game couldn't be anymore of a College Football story than it already is.

Auburn won and all is right in the world, at least until next Saturday. Peyton Barber is still a boss, Sean White is looking really good, Ricardo Louis replaced Duke really well, defense actually showed some signs of improvement, I thought.
Other than that, not much to say about this week other than I'm glad I stayed on the channel to see the end of Michigan/Michigan State.
Miami wastes no time as they fire Al Golden a day after the 58-0 shitstomping.
CARL LAWSON IS BACK LET'S GO BABY
Just wish he'd gotten back in time to prevent at least 1 of those overtimes on Saturday.
And now Toledo was handed its first loss. Very little doubt now that the G5 representative in a New Year's Six bowl will be from the American.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.Luckily Texas A&M and Georgia are both also kinda collapsing right now. I think we beat one of them. If we beat both, that momentum means at the very least we can keep the Iron Bowl close. I'm hoping so hard for a 9-4 season though.
EDIT: Hey, Pelini, you want to coach this second half of the season?

Marqise Williams may just throw for 700 against Duke.
Edit: Well, Navy just torpedoed Memphis' chance at a New Year Bowl, leaving Houston as American's Last Hope.

Shutting down Texas A&M was fun. I highly recommend it.
Welp, so much for the Pac-12's run. Doesn't look like Clemson's going to lose its remaining games.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.I hate Mark Richt. He could somehow go 0-12 and STILL beat us
Just went to my first football game in years, watching Washington State win their final home game of the year.
I honestly didn't expect them to be 8-3 and AP ranked.
And now only two undefeated teams remain: Clemson (and if they lose to South Carolina, going by this past week's performance, they'll REALLY Clemson) and Iowa (which has yet to meet the B1G East Echelon of Michigan/Michigan State/Ohio State).

I now go by Graf von Tirol.Well the Apple Cup happened, and it turned out pretty much the way I was hoping. The Cougars quickly lost their grip on the game (and the football) as the Huskies blew them out of the water.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes. It wasn't a Clemsoning, but South Carolina came pretty close to making it happen

On one hand, Clemson was already up by 12 in the final mere seconds and it's a rivalry game, on the other hand I agree that it would have been Clemsoning should they lose.
So now the two undefeated teams are still there and two winless teams remained winless.
I now go by Graf von Tirol. And LSU is keeping Les. Smart move by the Tigers. There's not another coach available who's anywhere near as good as him, and he'd take a big chunk of that #1 recruiting class with him if he left.
Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!I'm not sure why his job was in danger to begin with; he has a record of 110-32 and a National Championship.
Thankfully saner heads prevailed.
And now Virginia, Rutgers and Georgia fired their coaches. Especially in the case of Rutgers, good riddance (and their AD is gone too)!
Georgia did come across to me as a bit surprising, but I did see that in recent years Richt hasn't been that competitive against ranked opponents.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.what's the good word?
TO HELL WITH GEORGIA
\o/
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterAnd the Bulldogs are off the coach-go-round almost as soon as they got on, poaching Kirby Smart from Alabama
Make your own damn Smart puns, folks. I'm avoiding the low-hanging fruit.
Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!Aaaaaaand...
Richt quickly found a job with another regular Georgia Tech foe Miami.
EDIT: And now BYU's Bronco Mendenhall to Virginia. And there's all sorts of speculation that Will Muschamp will go to South Carolina.

I now go by Graf von Tirol.Everyone's in full meltdown mode here and Muschamp hasn't even left yet!
So there we have it! Our tournament:
Cotton Bowl: (2)Alabama vs. (3)Michigan State
Orange Bowl: (1)Clemson vs. (4)Oklahoma
And here are the other NY6 bowls:
Fiesta Bowl: (7)Ohio State vs. (8)Notre Dame
Peach Bowl: (9)Florida State vs. (18)Houston
Rose Bowl: (5)Iowa vs. (6)Stanford
Sugar Bowl: (12)Ole Miss vs. (16)Oklahoma State
And seeing that both Washington schools are on December 26th bowls in Texas, and twenty minutes apart from each other, I'm trying to decide whether to go to El Paso or Dallas.

I now go by Graf von Tirol. How the hell did we qualify for a New Year's bowl???
Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!
So, Boise State lost and Memphis just beat Ole Miss. I think it's clear who's getting the "Group of Five" NY6 nod.
EDIT: WTF THAT MUFFED PUNT SNAP!
