-Yojimbo manages to dodge one, but the second connects, sending him to extremely low health-

Jason: Man, you all just don't give do ya? Yojimbo, if you can try a Razor Leaf!

Yojimbo: I-I can t-try...

-Try as he might, Yojimbo can only get off a somewhat weak Razor Leaf-

-Jason yanks out two pokeballs, one to retrieve Yojimbo and one to throw out Linda, who emerges curled into a ball.-

Your Trainer's name: Teddie 'Super Nerd' Lace

Age: Just turned 17

Gender: Male

Brief description of his/her appearance: Skinny, gangly, pale skin, and wears an over-sized purple and black hoodie, covering the top half of his face. Messy brown hair, and if you care to remove his hood (Which you shouldn't)You'd find he has toxic green eyes.

Any ties to an organization: He's not the best in a group.

Region of origin: Originally born in Unova region, he lived in an apartment building in Nimbassa City.

Backstory: Teddie, or Super Nerd as he prefers to be called, was born with a need to connect. To the internet that is. From an early age this boy was hooked to computers, and what made them tick, going as far as to take apart his father's PC to see how it worked. It didn't turn out that well.

One month long grounding, and a new computer later, S.N. began studying anything there was to know about computers.

At the age of 14, he created his most prized possession, his hoodie, which was laced with a special thread like wire, and projects a screen on the top half of the hood, showing him not only the computer, but the real world through a special camera. In all honesty, this was pretty darn lucky of him, and it took him the good portion of a year.

Well, it was an average day when he found none other than a Porygon in his email...but something was off about it. The coloring wasn't pink and blue, neither it's shiny blue and white, but a neon pink and black color, similar to a missing texture in a game...then it hit him.

The Porygon was hacked. Who could of done this to a poor defenseless program? Or was this a faked porygon, something that wasn't supposed to be? Whatever it was, something inside of Super Nerd called out to it, and was soon downloaded onto his computer, and into one of his father's spare pokeballs.

Now, Super Nerd is off on his journey, wanting to find some help for his Porygon, and see if he can find where she came from.

POKEMON 1: Starter Pokemon Species: Porygon

Nickname: Byte

Gender: None, but seems feminine

Ability: Analytic

Personality/Bio: Byte is a timid pokemon, and only really trusts Super Nerd and anybody that Super Nerd trusts. Byte would rather help S.N. Collect data rather than battle, and she's rather good at collecting data. A big problem for Byte is that she's rather buggy, and can't stay outside of the digital world for too long, unlike regular Porygon's.

POKEMON 2 Species: Trubbish

Nickname: Virus

Gender: Male

Ability: Sticky Hold

Personality/Bio: Virus is a very loyal pokemon, willing to fight against anyone to protect Super Nerd. The poor trubbish was abandoned in the forest, far away from the pollution of the city that he needed, when Super Nerd found him and took him in. It was explained that Super Nerd liked man made pokemon, especially someone as 'Cute' as himself.

(Also...Hopping Hitmontops? Is that it?)

Teddie sounds more like the main character of a fanfic than an RP character. That's not necessarily bad, but in this case, it doesn't quite work that well.

Also, you're missing the phrase from Every's Essay.

To be honest... the whole "being chased for a crime he didn't commit..."

How would that fit in the RP? I mean, being chased by the police? How he's supposed to interact with anyone else? (You're not the first that needs to fix the story, though. There was one character who had to be changed from a vampire to a goth, someone who needed a Pokemon who destroyed their hometown, from Entei to Hydreigon, and then had to nerf the rage or how to call it.)

Also, while genderless Pokemon have unknown physical gender, they can depict behavior that indicates mental gender. (That's Masculine or Feminine Pokemon for you, IIRC),

What Straw said. It doesn't mean you have to completely scrap the concept, just tweak the iffy details. For example, the "on the run" bit is kind of iffy. I doubt digital crimes like downloading a hacked Porygon could put someone in that much trouble, considering how many worse crimes people manage to get away with.

The Porygon itself, I'd say is fine. One of my characters has a glitched Porygon-Z, and we have other different-color Porygon, so a hacked one seems reasonable.

The only other complaint I have is how much of an incredible tech wiz he is. "Skilled with computers" is more reasonable than "a master with computers".

I am, however, very fond of the Trubbish, if only because it means I won't be the only one with a Trubbish-line mon. :P

Oh yes, many crimes. (And as I said in the chat, I don't have anything against the Porygon. We already have PEFEgon, I mean, and Linux.)

HEAVY SPOILERS, AHOY

Ghetsis has "2nd degree Pokémon abuse, domestic abuse, theft, attempted high treason, attempted 2nd degree murder," and he also escaped from police. After everything, he went into vegetable mode.

Purple Eyes has "Breaking and entering, assault and battery, Pokémon kidnapping, kidnapping, extortion, attempted 1st degree murder, attempted 2nd degree murder, disturbing a Legendary Pokémon, 1st degree Pokémon abuse, intentional endangerment of humanity." It took Arceus himself to get that guy. To be exact, he got exiled (banished) from this plane of existence by Arceus, to be sentenced.

There's also the Darkrai, but not sure if he counts, considering that's PM Dverse.

Okasy, no problem. Can I still keep the hoodie, though? I really like the hoodie. And I read through the essay, but I guess I missed the code word, I hope I get it right.
