You could photograph an item normally and then use a resizer to bring it down under the limit.

I usually do that with Microsoft Paint.

Do what with paint?
Reduce the size of the image. If you want to reduce the size of the photo captured, I do not know.

Use the first link in my sig. I find it does a better job than Paint or MS Office at clean resizing, plus you can save in multiple formats and add effects.

How can I add an image to a page (say, Kevin Sullivan) without stepping on somebody's copyright?
