I have a strange feeling that this is just a joke and no one is expecting any actual transaction.
I've heard about the cardboard cut of the iPad too. Too bad that it is no longer on the list.
I remember one time a woman was selling two 50 pounds bags of rat poop. Uggggghh how the hell do you fidn that much rat poop in your house and furthermore why the hell are you keeping it around to sell?
Even worse outside of a farmer who needs to fertilize the fields who buys two 50 pound bags of any kind of poop?
"If everybody is thinking alike, somebody isn't thinking"- George S. PattonI once saw a guy selling a bag of dandruff that reminded him of a David Letterman monologue. He promised that once you took the dandruff out of the bag, you would instantly think of David Letterman.
"It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.""This listing (121024594161) has been removed, or this item is not available."
Aww. So much for looking at the cardboard cutout...
Anyway, not sure if this is on-topic, but... googling stuff can lead to ridiculous claims various sites make about able to sell you whatever it is. What's really fun? Googling medical-related stuff and having it do that. Never shall I forget eBay's great deals on hard dry bloody stool.
If you are not very careful, your possessions will posses youOnce I saw a listing for a Play Station 3... back in about 2001. I wish I still had the listing picture, it was a horribly misshapen pile of black plastic.
Right now, there is a cardboard cutout of a WiiU gamepad being auctioned off on eBay. I really want you to click to see what it looks like and to see how much people are bidding on it, but for those less curious, it has had 74 bids so far and, as of this writing, it's going for over $90,000, exactly US $90,700.00.. It's almost like a dadaist satire of eBay, I swear.
Here's a blog posting about it, a NintendoLife forum thread about it in which the seller explains what the dealio is, and here's a video the seller put up on his/her You Tube about it.
eBay, you so silly.
Any other ridiculous eBay listings you've come across? The only thing that even comes close to this in ridiculous hilarity that I've seen is someone selling a lot of 100 expired coupons. I placed a bid on it. I was outbidded.
