The Southpaw has no brakes!Apparently, Chrome comes bundled with the Divx movie player... thing. I made sure to untick the relevant boxes, but seriously. I just wanna watch my illegal anime streams, I don't need another browser.
*brain explodes*
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I have Avast on my home computer, which only my mom uses, and she agreed to some sort of update- 'a little box that popped up', in her words -without knowing what it was. It totally changed Chrome by installing the Babylon toolbar* and removing all of the preferences and addons that I had installed for her to make it feel more like AOL because she's a dinosaur like that.
I wasn't happy.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Anyone know how good F-secure Blacklight and Fixwareout are?
They're free antivirus prog that are suggested here but I've never heard of. Alongside Avast! which I have.
Oddly, two of them are themselves listed as possible problems in getting Steam connected: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9828-SFLZ-9289-
I just installed Dropbox on this computer, and it put a shortcut to Chrome on my desktop. It probably would have installed it if I didn't already have it.
Used the advanced settings too, so I should have been informed.

But don't programs install to the computer itself? It shouldn't matter which user it is...
