Anyway, on Mob Psycho 100- how good is it? I tried watching the first few episodes the other day but I just ended up bored outside of a few chuckles.

She's just short of the critical point, presumably.

Well to be fair her sister has been sandbagging her self-esteem super hard.

And she hasn't even been meaning to do so.

Fubuki may have an inferiority complex but that doesn't mean she's selling herself short. There's really nothing to indicate that her appraisal was off.

Yeah, the very top of A Rank is made up of Sweet Mask, who could be mid S Rank if he wanted to, and the personal students of S Ranks.

As I understand it, Sweet Mask is pulling a similar Beef Gate stunt to Mumen Rider:

Purposely staying at the top of A Rank in order to prevent anyone unworthy of rising above that rank.

At least I think that is what Mumen Rider is doing. His reasons might be different, but I'm sure I saw it on his profile on This Very Wiki.

Mumen Rider stays at the top of C because he doesn't think he's worthy to be in B. Completely different reason then Sweet Mask.

Licenseless Rider just doesn't think he can cut it in B.

I see.

Well that makes more sense.

What is the power of Sweet Mask exactly? I recall that he has a Super Mode of something like that.

Also, is the dub any good? I hadn't had the chance to check it out

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that half of C Rank could kick the shit out of Mumen Rider.

We don't know the specifics of Sweet Mask's abilities, but he doesn't look like a slouch.

We've never seen exactly what Sweet Mask's deal is. All we know is that he's really strong, is absolutely terrified of ugly people, goes all veiny when he gets serious, and can somehow reattach severed limbs.

About Mob: he's still in middle school iirc. And seems to match the average size of his classmates or other people around his age. You could say Tatsumaki is like that due to the way she was, erm, "brought up".

And guys, I suggest watching Mob Psycho 100 with a focus on Reigen. He's the real comic relief when the story gets more serious. ;)

Sweet Mask was fast enough to behead a bunch of alien prisoners before anyone could react.

And all of them at that.

Even considering most of them were exhausted after the long battle with the 6 headed asshole, that's still impressive.

Sweet Mask is clearly higher on the Power Levels totem pole then his rank would suggest. It wouldn't shock me if he's actually stronger then some of the S-Ranks.

Pretty sure it's even been directly stated in ONE's webcomic.

It kind of makes you wonder:

Did he reach his rank before most of the current dudes in Class S got to where they were, or after.

Considering the disrespect he shows to some of them, I'd assume the latter. Clearly, if he'd been there beforehand, a lot of them probably wouldn't even be S Class. Genos is likely the only one he'd have let slip by.

Yeah, Sweet Mask shows in the webcomic that he's at least mid-tier S Rank; he fights people who make Genos look like a joke.
