Watched the second episode of the dub. Genos has a much deeper voice than I was expecting.

Man. There aren't many series where I'm willing to re-watch it in both languages. These days, I don't really bother much with a dub if I've seen the original version, but this show.....

so I'm noticing some differences between the manga and the webcomic I'm pretty sure

but what exactly are all of the differences? because i jumped to where the manga left off and i only ended up confused.

The last time I looked at the manga they were doing a side arc about Saitama infiltrating a tournament - the whole Elder Centipede thing was made up for the manga.

Webcomic had Tatsumaki and Saitama fighting about something.

well the side arc gave more depth to a lot of characters so i can't complain.

Er, don't take my word on it, someone whose actually read most of the webcomic would better explain the actual differences. I only looked it up and found out the Elder Centipede arc wasn't webcomic-canon.

Saitama and Tatsumaki fighting is after this present arc, though.

Speaking of the Saitama / Tatsumaki fight, I hear that little incident has had a negative affect on the Hero Association. They've lost a lot of credibility on that little debacle. In addition to the that Saitama so so powerful that he makes all of them look bad as well since he almost never tries.

How exactly are things going in the webcomic, and what do we have to look forward to for the Murata version? I know there's still the rest of the Garo arc, but I'm curious what else the story has in store for us.

Well Monster Association/Garou lasts a while, and then there's the after effects of that, Blizzard vs Tornado, Saitama vs Tornado, and it looks like it's setting up a conflict between the Association and a new hero group. (The cyborg organization from Speed o' Sound Sonic (lol)'s introduction is still nowhere to be seen)

Wow. Lots of interesting stuff going down.

Do we know if this new hero organization is effective or not? It'd be more interesting if they were genuinely good as opposed to a bunch of straw-men.

Have we learned anything bout Metal Knight & has Amai Mask gone even more fucking crazy?

Webcomic: We see Metal Knight's face (buck-toothed old geek) and he's interested in Saitama after he accidentally destroyed all the ridiculously powerful security robots for the new City A.

Sweet Mask becomes a bit more unhinged during the Monster Association/Garou fight, and there's some stuff that implies that he may not be human (at one point, his arm is cut off and he re-attaches it, also, Garou caves in his entire face with a punch and he's no worse for wear afterwards). He's also obsessed with Saitama after he defeated Garou.

The manga added a LOT of filler padding out Garou's Hero hunting. In the webcomic, there's just a time-skip of a few months that the manga's filling out.

Saitama and Tatsumaki fight because Tatsumaki was threatening to seriously injure Fubuki and either kill everyone in the Fubuki Group or force them all to quit being Heroes, based on her belief that friends are only a crutch for the weak, and that strong people shouldn't have them, out of pride for Fubuki after she defends herself against Tatsumaki's rage. Saitama disagreed.

The new Hero organisation call themselves 'Hunters', and they seem totally legit, with a bunch of well-founded complaints and criticisms of the Hero Association being run by a bunch of corrupt, egotistical assholes who pander to the rich and neglect the common man. Genos seemed to be considering joining, last I checked.

I'm pretty sure we've seen Bofoy a couple of times even before this arc. He appears - with his eyes hidden I think? - during the meteor chapter. When Metal Knight is talking to Genos.

Yeah, we've seen Bofoy's mouth in the manga. In the webcomic we've seen his entire head.

Maybe if Genos relocated he'd stop jobbing.

Its the company he keeps. He needs to hang around people of a lower power scale. Anyone else, basically.

Fubuki vs Do-S is heating up, and it sounds like Tatsumaki might be joining the fray.

Which means Goddess Glasses might actually turn out to be a separate character so she can still get her shit wrecked by Sweet Mask.

This lady is making a mistake wanting to call on Tatsumaki...though she's also making a mistake thinking she can beat Fubuki, especially when she referenced her older sister earlier.
