Another Keep Until Better Image Suggested, for what it's worth. I doubt we'll be able to get a text-free image at all, and the graphics here do add something.

I'm thinking about going ahead and making the suggestion I was thinking about earlier, but I need to discuss it with the rest of the staff and I actually have to build it if it gets a thumbs-up.

From your description, I'd say it could be effective enough to make the dialogue passable. Let's have a link to the strip in question. That will be easier than making the composite.

Looking at it, it may not work as well as I thought just from a resizing panels vs. speech balloons angle, content aside.

If you put the speech bubble from the second to last panel in the last one, it would work pretty well.
