Since we had a discussion a few days ago about Dora and some people were worried that she wasn't a good role anymore, I think it's worth mentioning that I think this is a much better show for young children than Dora.
Having watched it out of curiosity (and there nothing else to watch at 6 am on saturday), I like the fact that the show avoids the whole "stare blankly into the souls of children" schtick and just tells a story, aimed at a younger audience, and does try to teach kids that going to the doctor isn't a scary thing. Nothing I'd recommend to more developed animation fans, but I know I'd probably dig it if I was 6 or 7.
Yeah, she doesn't stare directly into children's eyes because the creator didn't want that - she wanted a show that was different from the other shows that are like that. Cheers for preschoolers, she called it.
Im really glad there's a show like this.
Every time I hear Lambie, I can't help but think of Kari and her pureness, which hilariously is fitting what with how lambs are symbols of that. XD
For all it's kiddiness, I admit to finding this show highly enjoyable. My favorite character is Squeakers .
Oh gawd, YES!

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Lara Jill Miller (Lambie) is in so much stuff that I'm sure for each of us that there's a character that would come to mind. For me, it's puppy Clifford.
I also love that it gives Little black girls a role model.
You know what I miss?
The Backyardigans. Fun, cute doesn't try teaching any lessons.
It's also about the only musical I can stand watching.
BUY A CAR FROM ME!Oh, I liked The Backyardigans too, but I kinda felt like that they had done about all they could with it - they did have nearly 80 episodes, many of them double-length, which is far more than most shows of this type get. Especially when they had to compose several original songs for every episode. I'm not sure if the show was ever formally canceled, but there hasn't been any new material since 2010.
Fun, cute, and doesn't try teaching lessons (much)? Try Jake And The Neverland Pirates.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Hey there, I decided to see if we can activate this thing again. My favorite toy is probably Lamby, she's very cute and sweet. These characters are surprisingly un-obnoxious for a little kid show.
All our wishes can come trueLambie's my favorite as well, Stuffy would probably be second, though I'm also fond of Hallie and her take-charge, together attitude. Chilly, unfortunately, is probably the weakest, he seems more like a walking complex rather than a character one can actually care about.
Did you catch the Valentine's Day episode that just recently aired? (If not, no worries— they love doing lots of airings around holidays, so there'll be plenty of repeats.)
Second season has been confirmed, though I'm not sure exactly when it starts.

how many more boo-boos can there be? I think they covered pretty much all of them, unless they move onto stuff like soical skills and stuff like that.
Off-Topic note, I really want a Rainbow Magic tv show, those books are so stupid yet so addicting.
All our wishes can come trueHmm, I don't know. I'm sure they can think up something. The Wonder Pets managed to milk their concept for three seasons, and one would think that could easily run dry.
The most recent installment dealt with one toy (Lambie) dealing with jealousy, so social skills and related concepts are a definite idea. And another dealt with a toy that was simply too loud. It's simply a matter of being creative, and given the team that this show has, I'd be willing to bank that they can keep it fresh.
I hate to bring this up, but Moo Moo is in a similar case with Lotso.
If anyone's interested, Disney Junior is having a promotion where people can pick their favorite toy from the show, of the main ones. They're going to reveal the winner on May 5, when they air the first new episode in a while now.
The most recent episode that aired on June 22, 2019, "Stuffy's Safari", is the 126th episode of the series, meaning it's now the Disney Junior show with the most amount of episodes , beating Mickey Mouse Clubhouse , which had 125 episodes. I do wonder how many episodes there are this season.
Okay, this is pretty cool. To recap, there was a recent Doc Mc Stuffins short written by Erin Feeney, who has cerebral palsy and can't speak. Despite that, she made her writing dream come true.

The show didn't win the NAACP Image Awards.

The moral of "Caught Blue Handed" is about washing your hands. Considering the Corona Virus pandemic, it's understandable.
Edit: Chris Nee mentioned she was going to go to Ireland for the show's final wrap party. She then goes on to say how she's been working on the show for 10 years. That's pretty impressive.

Tomorrow is both Chris Nee's birthday and the series finale of Doc Mc Stuffins.
This was put onto youtube.

The show got 2 nominations at the NAACP Image Awards. The first is for the show itself, and the second is for Doc's voice actress Laya De Leon Hayes.

The show won both nominations.
Kinda surprised we aren't already talking about this show, Doc McStuffins, given how much of a Periphery Demographic this seems to have. This is Disney Junior's show about a young girl who's the daughter of a doctor and can bring toys and stuffed animals to life using her magic stethoscope, then treat their illnesses and injuries in her playhouse.
The show has received a lot of attention because the main character is black, and the show is quite well done. The stuffed animals, particularly Lambie, are also incredibly cute, though not insufferably so.
The Merch for this show seems to sell like crazy - and I would know, because I sell it online. The plush of the stuffed animals are very popular, but they also make playsets. The most popular one seems to be that of Doc actually as a doctor, which is a good sign - maybe there are a lot of young aspiring doctors out there. There's also Swim Time Doc and Rock Star Doc, which don't seem to be quite as popular, though they do still sell. From me - if you ever want merchandise from this show, don't buy it online if you can help it, as there's usually a huge markup. If it all possible, see if you can find it in a store first - you might or might not get lucky. Supposedly Hallie plush exist, though I've never ever seen any, except online. Chilly is also very rare in stores.
