Back in the 70's and 80's there was this sub-genre disco where people would dress up in ridiculous costumes and make awesome music that usually had a hypnotic bass and wacky sound effects here and there. It was called Spacesynth (also called Space Disco) and it was awesome.
I thought I'd make a thread about it and list off a few examples here for anyone new to it.
You may have heard Meco's Disco version of the Star Wars theme, which is probably the most well known Spacesynth song (for obvious reasons).
