Poor Geoff XD Ryan was on fire this round though, he did pretty good despite those few bad holes.

This year's RT Extra Life livestream is going on now. It's on the RT twitch channel. Announced stretch goals are: $100,000 Jack announces a new AH event, otherwise it'll be announced at PAX; $200,000 Ryan the Gnome Guy pic is released (with bonus Jack as a Pound Puppy).

Also Le Var Burton is supposed to stop in around noon their time.

I'm going to do my best to stay up through the entire stream. I've got eight hours of sleep, so I think I can do it XD

They raised $241,979 for Extra Life, not counting poster sales. Here's a reddit post that has recorded many of the highlights. I guess something happened to the stream that caused it not to archive, but there were people recording so if you want to see it you can probably find it on youtube in the next few days.

Things of note: Le Var Burton read Go The Fuck To Sleep, Jack announced they'll be doing a Live Let's Play in Austin, Texas (later it was clarified if it does well they'll go to other cities), and Ryan the Gnome pic was released. To be perfectly honest, you could go to Minnesota in the winter and have little difficulty seeing people dressed like Ryan was in the pic. It's just him in a knitted winter hat.

Awwwww :C I was hoping it would be funnier.

I stayed up for I think eighteen hours worth of the stream. I went to bed at 1 last night while Alan Ritchson was on. The last notable thing I remember was them breaking open the mac and cheese jar.

Episode 1 of Ten Little Roosters is live. It looks like it's going to be a pretty fun mystery. Too bad my sleuthing skills suck XP.

...... How can the killer not be Ryan

No way the killer is Ryan. Everyone will automatically assume it's him because he's the murder guy. It's too obvious. Also, the bit about being trapped and running out of air made me think of When the Hunters played Hot Foot X, so I'm thinking that's Gavin's time.

In which we get the closest thing to an Achievement Hunter podcast. And it's awesome.

And Ryan's relationship with his wife over the years is absolutely adorable.

Ryan goes all Zen

Ryan: I'm a confusing beast, To hunt The Ryan you must understand The Ryan!

Lindsay: I will never understand The Ryan

Ryan: and Thus you will never catch The Ryan

Ryan was the best monster, I think. He avoided them pretty much right up until he leveled up to 3.

Also, does the Alpha have the Kraken as an option to play?

Yeah, but you need to unlock it.

Rooster Teeth is being acquired by Fullscreen. Here are Matt and Burnie's statements about it. Should note that AT&T has a majority stake in Fullscreen.

For fucks' sake, big-name companies ruin everything.

If things go south, I don't think it'll be Fullscreen's fault. This is just RT trying to grow and expand their business (read: mo' money). I'm putting this in the same category as the creation of The Know, primarily a business move.

Fullscreen also backs 5 Second Films (and apparently The Fine Brothers as well, although I don't think I've watched any of their stuff), who are awesome, and I haven't noticed them being negatively influenced by hypothetical corporate douchebags.

There's probably nothing to worry about besides a possible change of/additional sponsors and a few Shout Outs to other channels in the network, which would be cool, because a RT and 5SF collaboration would be awesome.

They know what they're doing. I doubt that they'll tell RT what to post and what not to.

Yeah, Fullscreen manages too many networks to commit the blunder of killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. If they have a lick of sense, they'll leave RT's content creation and community alone.

I was kinda worried but when Matt says they've known the people at Fullscreen for a long time that leads me to assume they'll probably be able to work with one another just fine.
