I dunno... most of the characters in that shot are inhuman. The only traditionally under-represented minority there is women. I realize the idea of EOE includes "species", but that image just doesn't say "diverse" to me. Prefer the Bleach pic.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Does this need a crowner?
Crowner's hooked.
I agree that the Sith one, while obviously evil, shows far more inhuman looking characters.
The description specifically mentions species, so I don't see that as a problem. It works for me of the offered suggestions.
Yes, it does.
I still prefer the bleach one slightly, though. *
"That is a problem with the suggestion" and "that disqualifies the suggestion" are two very different claims. The fact that the article mentions species (which I acknowledged *before* asserting the criticism) doesn't make that not a problem. I think it's a big problem. A very large fraction of the examples are concerned with ethnicity, not species.
Yes the article mentions species, and I agree the Sith look totally awesome, but species diversity is very uncommon for EOE, usually it is about having different flavors of human. It technically counts, but it is not a good illustration of the trope.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think this is ready to be called.
Nope, and especially since the leader's dropped under 2:1.
Bump for votes.
This one's finally ready to call. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged. Caption or no?
Black, white, pink-haired, it's all bad.
Moon◊Good for me.
