Elaida is a bitch. Mat wakes up and actually has some semblance of sen-ohmygodLanfear. She can just sneak in the tower and chat Mat up? What kind of craptastically bad security do Aes Sedai have, anyway? Egwene is hogging all the interesting plot stuff at least, what with Verin handing her the dreamer ter'angreal and going through her acceptance test. I like how all of Egwene's fears involve abandoning Rand. And her test went wrong because the ter'angreals reacted with each other.
Incidentally, I'm amused getting into Verin's head tells us little more than being out of it. Brown Ajah is best Ajah.

14 books+a prequel=11916 pages in total.
The Dragon Reborn(Lu's current book) is book number 3 and is around 675 pages. It's the first book that made Rand's chapters few in exchange for focusing on other characters.

Also yeah there's actually nothing the Tower can do about Lanfear, if I remember correctly, with the way she get around there are absolutely no countermeasures for it.

Aes Sedai are the organisation, Ajah are groups with their own ideology.
Kind of like the 13 squads within the Gotei 13.

All Aes Sedai are members of one of the seven Ajahs, and some are also secretly members of the Black Ajah that works for Fantasy Satan. Brown is about studying lore and being awesome and Green is about fighting things (mostly monsters because they're geased against killing humans except in self-defense) and being adequate.
Verin is a necessary but not sufficient condition for being best Ajah. Black has major considerations against it that Brown lacks, including a) being evil, b) including Galina, and, most damningly, c) being judged rank bollocks by Verin. You're awfully quick to leap to accusations of Darkfriendliness, WHITECLOAK.
I bet the Green Ajah beat up the browns and take their lunch coppers.
Black Ajah are automatically not one of the other Ajahs by forsaking their oath. You just argued that Brown can never be best Ajah, GREYMAN.

The Tower gives its members money. Moiraine and Siuan get their first in New Spring. Apparently Greens can't manage to live on a budget like everybody else.
Regardless, she joined the Brown Ajah, the Brown Ajah has her, necessary condition for being best Ajah met.
Aes Sedai are wizard chicks that are all together in one big organization. I think everything else is pretty self-explanatory.
