All right, whatever it is, let's change the topic before this escalates into the point where mod intervention is required.

So I started to watch Kuromukuro. 4 episodes in, it's a pretty entertaining show, particularly when it comes to the main duo's bantering interactions.

It was mostly intentional.

I think I might be getting over anime a bit, I barely watch any anymore. At least I still enjoy Jojo's every week.

I'm not that big on anime either.

Every season, I check out around 4 or 5 anime's pilot, watches 1 or 2 anime for more than 3 episodes. The last time I finished an entire anime, even a single cour, was probably two years ago.

It sure doesn't help that I'm getting older. As in, I'm less sympathetic towards to teenagers and their bullshit. Also, my time and energy, as well as attention is more channeled towards movies.

I don't think I've picked up any new mangos or animus in the past year or two besides OPM.

I sort of feel that anime's been going through a quality slump just as western animation has been getting better and better.

Also I'm with D Roy. My energy's more channeled to movies and well.....books.

God, this kind of sense of humor is what made me love Justice League anime so much during my childhood.

You know, I like to imagine that initially he was confused...then he lamented, recalling the time that he had hair.

I've seen that scene before and loved it. It's made me want to try out the DCAU, but I don't know where to begin.

I've only watched Justice League and Teen Titans, so there's that.

GOD, I loved Teen Titans. Even to this day, Slade is one of my all time favorite villains, period.

Do yourself a favor and watch Batman Beyond.

Saiga: You could watch anything, really, including Justice League. It's not like you don't know who Batman or Superman are. I think Batman Beyond and Justice League are the only DCAU shows I actually like a lot. Everyone raves about BTAS but while it was okay enough when I was a kid I can't really get into it anymore.

Yeah, I don't think you have to worry about any overarching story.

I don't think I've ever watched the first and final episode for Justice League, anyway. XD

I actually tried to watch BTAS but it failed to grab me.

That's a perfectly normal reaction.

I think I've heard that the early parts just aren't very good but whatever, I'm not going to sit through a bunch of boring early crap for Batman. I don't even like Batman.

If it was only a couple of years ago, I would have gasped and angrily asking you how you cannot like Batman. I know better now, of course.

I find it very strange that people can take an adult man fighting crime while cosplaying as a flying rat seriously. Among other issues.

Oh wow, these are the smartest hillbillies I've ever seen in movies.

I imagine they take him seriously because he beats them up all the time. Like, imagine if instead of Batman this guy◊ roamed the streets at night in his dildomobile and terrorized criminals savagely. You'd have to take him seriously eventually.

I think Arha was referring to his fans, particularly the vocal ones.
