It was a S1 episode that was postponed. I haven't seen it yet but I'm prepared for a low episode in anticipation for what seems to be a more major story arc.
My suspicions seem to be likely. "Yearbook" was by far the most interesting and progressive episode of the series so far. I'm super excited to see what's coming next.
One thing I always liked about Boy Meets World is it always had a mature take on faith. It tackles the subject without being Anvilicious or making any of the characters come off as crazy for having it (or lacking it for that matter.)
I bring that up because Mr. Turner's return had a really awesome callback to his final episode (which was one of my favorite episodes from the original series.)
I'm glad they didn't play Status Quo Is God straight this time. Riley does not belong as Morticia Adams, but Farkle growing out of his "take over the class" zany self is a great move.
Thinking about the episode, is it me or has Farkle's voice dropped a bit.
Also, more Shawn/Katy Ship Tease. Hurray for those who ship them.
Still believe Jack's Maya's biological father

I never heard you say that before. But didn't we already hear the birth father's name and it was hilarious?
Possibly. It's called puberty.
Trump delenda estYeah. It was Kermit.
For all we know it could be a nickname. No I'm not in denial. It could be a smokescreen to throw us off the trail. Stop it. Right now.
With this week's episode. Cory's brother is supposed to be visited by an old friend. Whether the "brother" in question is either Eric or Josh is another question....
EDIT: Just saw the new episode. And hey, Eric's actually a senator now. And we can say that my WMG has officially been jossed.

Most likely, yes.
I'm sort of annoyed at this one. I mean, I'm happy the two of them remain friends and only friends, but the inclusion of another guy into the equation is irksome because I actually hope Riley and New!Farkle wind up together.
With all the teasing over Maya and Lucas lately I could see that being possible.
I find that to be a foregone conclusion unless they decide to maintain the teases and play the Riley/Lucas dynamic twice. I wouldn't put it past them but I have hope that Disney wouldn't use the same element twice in the same show.
They are definitely dropping an anvil on the Maya and Lucas thing now. I really hope the show isn't getting heavy-handed like Season 1 again.
That said, I think the writers are starting to really get a good grasp of their pacing and tone, as well as the characters. I'm super excited to see what the end of Season 2 will look like now that a lot of the growing pains are kind of dealt with.
Also, as a Canadian, we got to watch "I Am Farkle" a week before the rest of you in the States. I'm super excited to see reviews when it airs down there because I think it's one of the best episodes so far.
I haven't watched the leaked episode, but a Tweet from the writers intrigued me in regards to Farkle's mother:
"Tmw night: Farkle's mother does not handcuff Shawn to the boathouse because she already did that."
I guess Minkus married one of the "First Girlfriends Club" chicks.
I doubt it was Loken's character. I mean, she could be, but it's probably one of the other two.
ETA: Actually, take that back. Take that all back. It IS her. Should have realized with how Farkle says she throws her ring at his dad all the time.

Saw the episode. Nice bait and switch there...
It's ironic that the person who more or less started the "Is Farkle a real boy" subplot is absent during the reveal. Wonder how Shawn's going to react to finding out that not only did, yes, Minkus reproduced, but he reproduced with one of his Exes.
Given the quality of said ex, I think Shawn's shock will be less "With one of MY exes?!" and more "How did that . . ." until he remembers everything about her and knows it's mostly for the money.
Minkus having married Jennifer is pretty random. If IM Db hadn't spoiled it ahead of time for me, I would've been like "who the hell is she?" The Reveal about Tommy was similarly unexpected, but it also served as payoff from a narrative perspective. Pairing up two characters with such contrasting personalities is an interesting twist, but the fact that they existed so far apart in the series run makes it harder to grasp that contrast. It feels like a payoff without the proper setup. It would be like if Harley suddenly got paired up with Angela.
It also makes me curious what the conversation was like when they asked Loken to return to the show. I bet she never expected to reprise that role in a million years. I wonder what other minor characters from the original the writers will bring back next?

I'm glad they redeemed her and made her a person instead of a monster. I wonder if they'll ever do an episode where she and Shawn interact.
Shawn hasn't even interacted with Minkus yet. So I doubt it's going to happen anytime soon.
Considering she's a movie actress, it was a surprise they got her for this episode. Don't think we'll see too much of her.
I have to say that a reflection of true heartfelt friendships get expressed between mia and her friend, i would very much like to marry someone like that.
Why do relationships matter when you've had your heart broken millions of times :(Mia? Do you mean Maya? Or is there a new character we don't know about yet?
oh come on i can't spell to save me, but obviously the only other friend in the series lol. the sereis definelty doesn't need anything more than that

From the opening credits of the episode, it seemed to be a S1 episode. Basically the only reason why it was shown was it fit the "theme" on Friday (It was a mystery, and the episodes of other shows had similar themes).
