I am sorry, but everything about Bliss is the exact opposite of how you feel about her. She's badly written, has no reason to exist, and the plot is crud as well. You would have to hint to earlier that Mojo was watching all of this, instead of just inserting him in. That's good plotting.

The Rebeltaxi video on this was amusing to watch. I especially liked that dig at Bleedman there.

Am I the only one who thinks the show isn't worth getting upset about? Like, it's not good, no, and obviously shouldn't have been made the way it was, but it's such a mediocre, nothingburger product that I just find spending any energy on hating it or whatever to be a waste of time. I forget it exists most of the time.

I sort of feel this way about much of modern television, with the caveat that I also don't get going on about why something was made in the first place. Things come, then they go. It's not hurting anyone.

@Irene, I think it would be best if you just ignored firewriter. They do not seem interested in good-faith discussion and critique, just totting their opinions as fact and then poorly explaining why anyone who disagrees with them is wrong.

I think the Bleedman comic is still going on to this day, even though it's long past that era of Cartoon Network where it spawned. It's kind of aimless.

Agreed, Draghinazzo. Did I spell that right? There's really no issue here. Now to wait for Netflix to get the first season~

I saw small bits here and there. And I do find the new theme song fun. Kept the silliness of the ending theme, but adhered to the new design well. It's not super catchy like some others(what TMNT theme song hasn't been good for the cartoons so far? Bar maybe the one set in the future at best, imo. Rest were pretty good).

It's still not worth getting pissed over for this long. Yeah, when it came it it was worthy of scorn, but it's been a year and it's just not fucking worth it anymore.

The thing about this show it that it's hard to be mad for two reasons:

1. The original show arguably Jumped the Shark when Craig Mc Cracken left, so it's not like the original was this infallible thing or that we saw a show that needed a final ending, unlike the other revival from this time period.

2. This show is pretty much the definitive example of EVERYTHING wrong with Tumblr style activist writing in where in a zeal to fix a problem that may or may not exist, creates about ten new ones. "Miss Belum is bad because she has boobs!" Way to edit out the most competent adult female on the show, writers! Also...she was bad but the girls twerking was Ok. Eww.

"Let's add diversity to the lineup!" And you made a Poochie whose power is literally based on her inability to keep her emotions in check. Smooth.

I can't hate it because it's not defiling anything that deserves a better conclusion. It's just...so incompetent and ignorant of its own Unfortunate Implications. "You go have fun in the corner. Samurai Jack got it right at least."

I have to say, continuously posting about how it's not worth caring, sort of makes it seem like you care. Like, if that's your real opinion, you could just ignore.

That's what I do most of time; ignore an episode when it's on unless something interesting about it catches my eye. It's not that hard. I don't really get the need to constantly complain about or constantly go on about how it's not worth my time.

[up]Well I only posted because the epicenter of the controversy finished airing. It's like "well, it happened. Time to forget this exists until the next time major controversy appears." No sense being a Mr. Enter about it.

That wasn't directed at you specifically. But my main point is there really shouldn't be many major controversies for this show. Takes taking it way more seriously than you really should. That would be true even this show was good.

Though for the record, I don't actually think this show is bad. It doesn't illicit enough of an emotional response most of the time for me to honestly call it that. It's just something that's there, sometimes it's annoying, sometimes it's actually okay.

And I'm fine if people dislike it, but at this point I can't say that most of the criticisms of it are particularly constructive or well-thought out. Just look at the discussion with firewriter for an example of what I mean.

[up][up][up][up] Okay, so that's why it felt like the second half of the original series lacked heart. Like, it wasn't as exciting as the first half of the series, like, it already began to fade post-PPG movie, but, there's a clear point where the series became kinda meh.

I've never really liked the tendency people have to hep all the praise for something' success or blame for it's failures one person.

I imagine any drop in quality for the original (assuming you even think that happened) has more to do than just Craig leaving the show.

I'm just gonna say that if you're incapable of formulating your argument without terms like "SJW" or "Tumblr", it makes it incredibly hard to take your argument seriously.

I think the problem with most of the internet rants is they're mistaking subject for execution. Just because something is coming from a noble place doesn't mean it can't be screwed up royally. Nor does that make the intention itself bad.

As for Tumblr as a synonym for horrible writing and attempted diversity without any deeper thought behind it, it's because the two are sort of synonymous.

I'm not the biggest fan of tumblr, but it's too vast a place to to fit that generalization. At worst it has some dark parts or idiots doing that, and the true is same for any corner of the internet.

Hey how about we stop generalizing Tumblr, hmm? This is just gonna further derail things by constantly generalizing and bashing it for no reason.

I think Illumination is a little different because they've actually made some legitimately bad movies like The Lorax, and on top of that they're way more financially successful and influential than Nu PPG.

I dunno, generalizing is always bad, but somehow when someone says Tumblr in derogatory way it's always clear that he means the bad ones, not all of users. And I know that I wouldn't get away with that logic if it was about race or sex, but come on, even Tumblr users make posts like "This. This is Tumblr." or "this way the most Tumblr post ever". What, N-Word Privileges? Plus, I have never heard about someone literally being judged just for being on Tumblr. Again, I dunno.

Besides, why must SJW also be bad? Are not allowed to have word that describes overbearing progressiveness crazies? What term should I use?

SJW is as meaningless as Mary Sue because it's been abused to mean anything with a vaguely social justice theme to it. I've been called an SJW before, for god's sake. Just don't use the word, how about that? Plain and simple.
