I could've sworn they had a new power or two in that special.
Forgot to take that into consideration. It's hard for me to see that executive saying that episode was meant to be about transgenderism as anything but an attempt to cash in on that problem, whether they did because of wanting to be seen as progressive or wanting to get some controversy going.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013They actually said it was about gender identity or something. Either way, it led to an implication that it was about being trans, and they made it look even worse than it already was.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? One thing that bothered me about that special is that they made Bubbles be the one with Ice Breath.
It just seemed fitting.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Makes me wonder if Blossom still has Ice Breath and Bubbles can still talk to squirrels here.
In the Reboot?
Blossom has used Ice Breath at least once already and Bubbles has talked an animal.
Those still around.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Huh, guess I missed it then.
They also kept Bubbles' ability to speak different languages, since she spoke spanish during "The Stayover."
...and that "other time"...too.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I just remembered that Buttercup being afraid of spiders was an established thing.
Really? I recall they weren't fans of cockroaches in the Roach Coach episode.
I don't know why but the sight of the Professor strumming a banjo cause he's heartbroken for some reason is fucking hilarious.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."From the episode where Him terrorizes them in their dreams with their worst fears.
Bwa!!! Hes got a fucking banjo closet, the hell.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."On the controversy of the trans episode, apparently it wasn't even supposed to be about trans stuff and the producers marketed it that way to pander to the social justice crowd.
The writer of the episode also did apologize to any transgender people that could've felt offended by that episode.

I've met some pricks in my life but you, sir, are a goddamn cactus. That was posted earlier, and I'm still fuming a bit over that.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? They really are trying to be another Steven Universe aren't they?
It's not Ogre, It's Never Ogre.No...? Like, besides the transgender episode that wasn't really a transgender episode, I haven't gotten the impression they're going for the same thing.
I would say that in general, show tries to suck in other fanbases into it.
Powerpuff Girls: It wears it's skin pretending to be a real thing It's a reboot.
Adventure time: Some of animation on faces and bodies looks inspired.
Steven Universe: transgender thing.
Simpsons/Gravity Falls: some of the humor gives me that vibe. Focus on Tv series anyone?
Teen Titans Go: Occasionally plots and humor give me that vibe.
There's something about it that keeps reminding me of Star vs. the Forces of Evil too, but I can't pin my finger on what.
What's that about?
Star?
It's about a princess from another dimension who lives with this Spanish kid and fights evil creatures with a magic wand. It's a lot better than it really sounds.
I think what might be reminding you is all the psychedelic colors the show is constantly throwing at you. At least, that's what I think.
It's not Ogre, It's Never Ogre.
They had new powers in Danced Pantsed? I don't recall...
