They're only convincing if you already agree with their views on modern culture and entertainment; if you don't, they just come off as kinda out there.

My feeling on the Crank movies? They're actually the sequels to Speed. This time, it's human. ^_^
Crank 1 was hilarious and Crazy Awesome. I laughed so hard at that movie and it was a lot of fun.
Crank 2 was flat out stupid and disappointing though. It was just retarded. It was like a joke taken too far to where it's not funny anymore.
I know, really random movie to make a thread on. It is just that I found a pretty fascinating analysis on the film here.
What do you think of it? Overanalysis or a rather interesting look at an obscure 2009 film?
