OK, how far can get away with such a "cybot" before it becomes ridiculously unrealistic, pre-assuming the possibility of creating androids? Would something like the Terminatrix note be plausible?
Molecular machines? That sounds like sci-fi stuff — at least, for now.

They kind of do. However they are very simple machines. More neat curiosity for the time being.
