Does Not Illustrate: Sentient Cosmic Force

The trope is about a Background Magic Field with a mind of its own, and the picture is... a guy beating some sort of deity at cards? Given that a Sentient Cosmic Force is explicitly not a deity, and the Exalted entry points out that the image is not an example of the trope... why is it there?

In favor of pulling it.

I think it kind of doesn't work, in a kind of misleading way, so I kind of want to say pull.

+1 to pull, doesn't get enough of the trope across.

If it's not an example, it should not be there.

I'm not sure how we should go about illustrating this...

But one example that comes to mind is Marvel's Phoenix Force. I think there was something in its origin that could work, I'll try to find it. Here are two pics that I can see the trope in but I don't know if they'd work well at all: [1]◊ [2]◊.

Honestly, I doubt this is picturable outside of two characters discussing The Force or something.
