I dunno, being a dragon sounds like the opposite of a problem.
And apparently he and Mine went on to have more children than the one she was already pregnant with. Somehow.
Well I'd imagine it'd make certain things...awkward like said.
On the real tip, that's a bit of a mistranslation since raw doesn't say they have more than one child specifically because there's no plural punctuation in Japanese usually.
That said, man imagine how their children are going to be when they make friends.
"Dude, my Dad is a dragon!!!"
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I figured as much, but it's still funny, and I wouldn't put it past the author to actually mean it like that considering the vibe he was going for.
Although, there are ways to distinguish between "child", singular, and "children", plural.

Well that's what I mean; the kanji for both "Child" and "Children" is the same. So really, it's ambiguous. We know they had at least one child, but it's unclear if they had anymore after Tats goes full scale.
So yea, I'm sure it's intentionally left ambiguous.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. Also, Mine could have been pregnant with twins.
I will say, the one thing I actually like about Tatsumi surviving here is that scene with his village comes off as way less depressing now.

Binged the manga yesterday. Nothing spectacular, but it wasn't too bad aside from the gratuitous gorn / grimdark going a little too far, a few plot contrivances, and the epilogue seeming rushed.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Well, the Japanese word for it could refer to either children or a child. It just so happens MS are terrible translators so take them with grains of salt.
Uh...thank you reiterating what I already said?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Missed what you said, apologies.
We should have a spin-off detailing Mine & Tatsumi's domestic life cause Tatsumi now living a regular life as a house sized dragon with a very, very toothy Glasgow smile is hilarious.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Like I said, I see this ending "totally worth it" just to actually including monstrous transformation that sticks instead of it being reversed for totes happy ending I mean yeah her being pregnant AND awakening from coma is pushing it to stupidly convenient happy ending, but I can't think of any manga where protagonist transformed into monster and stayed like that and still had happy ending instead of "Raw I'm monster now I can't have non tragic end because monster!"
That's actually a good point. A protagonist staying a monster at the end of the series and still getting his happy ending is actually pretty unique. Most other instances would either kill the guy off, or half-ass the "being a monster" part. Like, human with two dinky horns, or some crap like that.
That sounds perfect. The kids will get the best piggyback rides ever.
I do like how Tatsumi doesn't seem to have any problems with being a dragon now, but you'd think he'd at least acknowledge it beyond "Oh welp"
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I mean, those kid(s) are gonna get to brag about having an awesome dragon for a father.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Tatsumi was probably already glad he didn't kick the bucket.
On the subject of spinoffs, I think Akame's epilogue deserves an expansion. Some part of me still believes she should have died, but since she's up and about, and actually prioritizing herself for once, it would be nice to see what exactly she's up to. And I just want to see her make some new friends since Night Raid's retired. She's the only one who made the boat trip...
Anyway, there are apparently two extra chapters. I hope they're about the aftermath of the war, and not some random side stories during the story proper.
, Way I see it, prior to the start of the war he made that pack with Akame to kill him if loses control and he seemed resigned to the idea that he would lose his mind and die.
Living as a dragon does sucks, but he actually made it out with the Best Case Scenario.
Maybe Tatsumi is able to change into human form for short intervals.
That's boring.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Tatsuji: This is my dad. He is a flying dragon.
Caught up, and wish I didn't. Damn, and here I thought the anime ending was bad. What the hell was the point of Leone dying? It was completely pointless, and to me feels like the mangaka deciding to spite fans of TatsumixLeone. Die for Our Ship by author fiat, as it were.

Was her death really that bad for people
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.It was extremely out of character and a really big plot hole. They had Stylish's Teigu, which could heal even the most extreme of injuries, and Leone was always characterized as someone who loved life and living, and she even stated that she wanted to see the world with Akame after the war was over. To suddenly do a 180 and become a Death Seeker, outright turning down being treated and choosing to go off and die alone somewhere? Yeah, it was just another example of the mangaka making someone die for the hell of it.
Well, he's a dragon now so at least he paid some sort of price.
