Just a Face and a Caption: Universal Adaptor Cast

The image depends on you knowing who the characters are and that they are not usually Musketeers. What's more, I'm sure we could do better. What about a collection of shots from one series showing the same characters in different adaptations? I was thinking of making one using Bob and Larry from Veggie Tales, but I'm having trouble finding screencaps.

I think those three are well-known enough to be an exception to Fan Myopia. I'm not opposed to a better image, but it's better than no image.

Is Mickey Mouse one of those characters that is considered so ubiquitously-known that they transcend our JAFAAC policies, like Star Wars does?

I think the same idea could be applied to the current trio, and it might be easier to find images for that. As the current is, Keep Until Better Image Suggested for me.

... do you guys know any other media where the three of them appear together against a different backdrop? Universal-Adaptor Cast isn't even listed on their pages.

I'd personally say so, but I'm from America; I don't know how well known they are overseas. The only characters I know are on the unwritten list of "famous enough to assume familiarity" are Batman, Superman, Darth Vader, Jesus, and maybe Harry Potter. Mickey and Bugs Bunny are potentials, but I'm not sure.

I'd think the Disney crew would fall into that category. That said, I kinda like the idea of making a collage of them in different scenarios.

I'm Swedish, and Donald is more famous here than Mickey. They're both very well-know, however, maybe even more than the superheroes or Star Wars. Goofy a little less, but still famous.

While I do think they are universal enough to be well known, I think the trope would be better served by showing the same characters in various works rather than just one.

How about combining The Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island?

Good enough. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged. Caption or no? "It may not be easy being green, but it seems to make casting a snap." came to mind, but it's kinda clunky.
