I can't get any medication right now, either. My school work is slipping. Everytime I do badly on a test or exam, I jsut feel like I'm going to be stuck in this stupid town forever. My last report card had /terrible/ marks. What am I supposed to do? It's suffocating. I just need someone to talk to. All of my friends freak out when they get a B, but I'm sitting over here failing a course.

Well Al, call me a crazy man, but I'm actually kinda failing a college course of mine right now in the form of British Literature... Heck, even I'm feeling a fair bit demoralized about it, given how I haven't passed a single test in that class yet, and that the class relies heavily on tests for grading, I'm going to admit I had an epic fail when even a tutor couldn't help me with a test (She helped, but NOT enough to not fail the test). As for what to do, is there a chance that you can get a tutor without inflicting any real monetary loss? When I went into college, I've requested a tutor to help with the English classes, and I can safely say that helped me a good bit. If there is one thing I can say, don't be afraid to request assistance for the classes you are struggling with, even if it's just a parent! Even the greater students need aid now and again, and there's no shame in getting assistance on a course.

I can relate to that: I failed half of my half-yearly tests and I've had to be bumped down to Standard English because I was coming last in the class.

Depression is a normal feeling just like the rest, especially prominent when you're growing up. It's fine to be depressed and to feel awful, if not the norm for teenagers.

My advice, as insignificant as it is, is to emote. Turn on a song which bears special meaning to you, and feel. Let it all wash out of you in a wave. The effects are as good as a good cry. My inbox is open if you want to talk to someone.

Well, NE, I'm in high school. I've already been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and Chronic Depression. I live closer to the gulf of Mexico than to my school, and my mother can't afford to drive me anywhere. The joys of living in the country. sad

And thanks, Mallard. I'll have to try that.

You could always try to get some antidepressants prescribed, but watch out for the ones that make you think there's free money inside your wrists.

The Chinese symbol for "problem" is the same as "opportunity".

Or some bollocks like that.
