They were also quick to turn on the Mages when bad things like a plague happened.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Episode 17? What, I was a week behind all along or something?
- Mogamett's nice guy. Just only to magicians. So he's not a total nice guy...
- Titus, you and Aladdin are so similar it hurts. Hope fighting this war will extend your...life...somehow...
- Scheherazde's three champions... Hah, Mu's the only champion she needs.
- So many Fanalis! Won't Morgiana be overjoyed.
- Hey, Ythman. How's the afterlife treating ya?
- Oh hey, Alibaba. When did he get acquainted with the Fanalis Corps?
A war's about to break out. And Al-Tharmen will be drinking from the skulls of the fallen, patting themselves on the back.
Episode 18: The battle between human will and magic's might is in full swing. Aladdin so wants to end this pointless battle...
Episode 19: The battle's over, courtesy of Aladdin's reawakening. But it looks like Mu wants to keep fighting. Why so persistent, Mu!?

Episode 20 Well that was go well, but the head master had to ruin it. Alibaba Seems to have taken a level in badass, that should be cool to see later. Now all we need is for Morgana to find the plot again.
Worst part is that Alibaba unwittingly found a lot more Fanalis than her. And by that, I mean, she didn't find a single one.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Episode 20:
- Alibaba got himself some more awesome points.
- I missed Aladdin and Alibaba's banter. And it was Alibaba's turn to give Aladdin the You Are Not Alone speech.
- Schneerazade's actually pretty nice. And a grandmother. She's almost as old as Tomiko. In fact, she's a year older.
- But...she's at her end, meaning there really is zero hope for Titus...
- The war is finally over... Then Kou begins to sortie, and Mogamett wants to annihilate stuff. Yay...

Episode 21:
- Mogamett has officially lost his way.
- Heh, I thought you were an insane guy at first, Kouha, but now I know you're a cool bro.
- Alibaba, showing more of his awesomeness. Wait till you see his ultimate- Alright, who stole his thun- Oh hey, Kouen!
Episode 22:
- Kouen's no fool, Alibaba. That must've stung.
- Farewell, Titus...
- Everything should've ended right there. Then Mogamett got sucked dry, and the end of the world's upon us anyway! Drat!
- Well, Gyokuren's quite jovial about this.

Oh yeah we're finally at the part for why I even bothered to watch the second season.
Now its time for non-stop fighting till the end.

You're saying this isn't an anime original ending twist? It smelled a whole lot like one. You know, big cast gathering blow up against random faceless Γ»berpowered baddie.
Nope, it's straight from the manga (with a couple very minor alterations) and it only gets better from here.
Yep the great thing about the second season is how close it follows the manga, the biggest alterations were fixing the things the first season left out and adding the special chapters to the main story line.
I don't know why but it always surprises me whenever I come across someone who hasn't read an anime's manga, my curiosity is to great to wait till the anime catches up, if it ever does.

Episode 23:
- The Djinn freaking out was golden!
- Behold the Kou Alliance in their transformed glory.
- Kouen has a "I don't give a crap" face as he exterminated those black djinn. But it was made clear that he's having a sugar rush. Explode and die already, stupid djinn! His knowledge will be quenched!
- Because of that, Kouen made me laugh. Scaring Aladdin, scaring the djinn, dragging Alibaba for some assistance... Good times.
- Sigh. Morgiana's missing out on something grand, huh?
Now sure how I feel about Morgiana's entrance, it's slightly different from he manga and she didn't turn her chains into a giant boot, but it was still cool and I didn't really like the boot I the manga anyways.
Other that a great episode cat wait till the next one which I believe will be the last of the season, I wonder if a third season will happen since the anime is pretty close to the manga now. Hopefully I they do make a third season they'll wait for the manga and not make up something.
Everyone did their best. But they just couldn't save the world. It's over. It's hopeless.
Then the Seven Seas Alliance appeared in all their awesome glory! They still have a fighting chance!
Morgiana!!! You came back with style! And it was you and Yunan who gathered up the alliance. Nice job.
Wait. Gyokuren's a magi? And she's the magi that ended Solomon's world!? Huh. She was evil from the very beginning.

Nope, Gyokuen used to be an adorable little girl who cried when she found she had hurt her giant cat friend.
Do we actually know if they're the same person? While likely, I don't think it's been confirmed.
People are mirrors. If you smile, a smile will be reflected. Also, dropping manga spoilers without warning in response to a post discussing the latest episode with spoiler tags isn't exactly kosher.
But, as for the most recent episode, I can't say I care for this bit. The good guys are on the ropes, so suddenly Sinbad and four metal vessel users we've never seen before start totally upstaging them.

@Gilphon: My reaction when that happened was, and I quote: Oh look, it's Deus ex Machina Man! With the power to upstage even the other deus ex machinae!
I don't mind this final fight, but I wish we could get back to character interaction and politics already. And that Morg got to do even one goddamn thing in the second half of this season.
It's been fun. What was that with Household Vessels Assimilating/being assimilated by the users? And why do it makes me think about origin of the Djinn?
Episode 24:
- I thought Yam totally hated Mogamett. But at the same time, she really did enjoy her life with him...
- Sorry, Sinbad got dibs on Magnoshutatt first. Gonna settle for the next best thing: A Aladdin prize!
- Hey, Ugo-dude!
- Schneerazade passed on... But Titus takes her place. He came back home, guys.
- Hey...Hakuryuu... You're...tapping into the dark side a bit too much, aren't you? This is bad...
So... Which chapter should I start reading from?
To continue past where the anime just left off? 199.
@ minusmagniaxe
Warning Manga Spoilers.
When a household member fully commits to their master they can fuse with their household, the side effect is that the more they do it the less human they become, like Drakon. This is almost exactly what the Djinn are, but they used Divine Staves.
shouldnt there be a manga thread too?
Secret SignaturePoint me to it.
Back in the day, Mogamett was forced to help the peasants as well. He probably got the impression that they also didn't care about dem mages as long as they made it rain, and thus were to blame as well. Wich may not be far from the truth...
