Get hyped.
Yet another reason I need money.
Nintendo really wants my money, don't they?
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."This is most unexpected.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Since I still need to play Earthbound I'm not super excited about this. I'm more interested in the possibility of Mother 3 coming over.
Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I bet they're saving the third game for tomorrow, right as they're wrapping things up. It's only fitting.
pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSYeah, MOTHER 1 is sorta... meh.
Hopefully this'll prompt MOTHER 3 though.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Probably shouldn't get too carried away here...
Trans rights are human rights. It's really cool that we're getting the game. A the same time, though, I think Earthbound improved on the first game in just about every aspect.
I have a message from another time...Until I see some proof of a MOTHER 3 rerelease, I'm not jumping to any conclusions.
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."Mother 1 isn't particularly great as far as the series is concerned, but there are still enough people who consider it a classic for a release to be viable. The atmosphere, if nothing else, is a plus. Maybe some people don't like the long walking distances, but to me it sort of gives the feeling of you playing a group of young children on a big adventure. The music helps.
Not getting my hopes up with Mother 3, honestly, but I'd love for it to be true. We've got the first two games, why not the third?

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSI suppose Earthbound Zero always was a fan name. Earthbound Beginnings is a little less cliche.
Earthbound Endings would be a perfect name for Mother 3.
I have a message from another time...I wonder if it'll be the censored prototype or the uncut one with an English localization.
edit: Probably the prototype, since "Mild Blood" isn't listed, and one of the bits of censorship was scrubbing the blood off of a few undead enemies.

AAAHHHHHHH!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!
I'm one of those peole who enjoyed MOTER 1! The sound I made when I saw the announcement is not one fitting of a 23 year old man.
I do lots of stuff. The real question is am I any good at that stuff. This on top of the Super Smash Bros additions?
Wow. Today is a crazy but awesome day for Nintendo.
I'm still waiting for that fan remake of Mother 1 that uses Earthbound graphics, but this is still really neat.
More Mother stuff is always really neat.
There's something insignificant written here, but because it's insignificant, you didn't read it.It still amuses me that Itoi is apparently some sort of minor celebrity in Japan, and MOTHER is closer to "a game designed by a famous person!" there.
I'm glad he supports the international release of MOTHER.

It's already been 20 years since Earth Bound's international release?! Jesus Christ, time flies by fast!
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."Not interested in buying this one, but hopefully this'll prompt Mother 3.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! In honor of EarthBound Beginnings, have a nice cover of Pollyanna.
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."Speaking as the guy who launched the page for Mother years ago, I cannot be more excited to finally have an American release of this game. And maybe it's my age (I grew up playing the NES), maybe it's because I remember being disappointed that Nintendo Power talked about this neat RPG in one of its earliest issues and we never got it, or maybe it's because I remember nearly crying as an adult when fighting Giygas for the first time... but I'm super psyched for this release. I'm glad to finally own this classic.
Mind you, I'm never giving up my copy of Mother 1+2 - that was my first version of the game that I owned, and it's always going to have a special place in my heart and in my collection.
