In my local news, my town was on Capital FM a few days ago.

Police numbers are on the rise due to an increase in the number of cannabis growers and smokers.

I'm so proud to live in my hometown.

[up] Probably something to do with her being 75, her Mother and Grandmother having done the same thing and her younger son presently being in a coma. Sometimes you just have to say "time for a long, long holiday" and call it a day.

And let us pray that come it may (As come it will for a' that)

Well, she's turning 75 in a few days, and it's 200 years ago that the first King of the Netherlands was crowned. That's two nice round numbers. Also, she apparently believes that her son is ready for the responsibilities of kingship.

Abdication isn't uncommon here - the last Dutch monarch to die on the throne was William III in 1890.

In other news, HOLY SHIT ITS GONNA BLOW

I remember seeing the old mountain go up in flames once, long ago. I hope one day I get to see the crater in person, from the top looking down. I kind of have an affinity for fire and firey things.
