I was surprised that people booed the Lincoln joke, like he said it was 150 years ago.

@Wuggles Yeah, same. Lots of people really liked that movie "Lincoln" and sensitive as fuck I suppose. Geez, lighten up people.
@Johnnyfog
Nah. It's the people who do the show.

"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenWhen this old man came up on stage and gave the most heartfelt speech I've heard all night, with cuts to his wife and family, all I could think is "please don't cut this man off with music. Please."

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Oh, Zeta-Jones.
Methinks the Jaws music is a catastrophe waiting to happen.
Also, I want to thank my dearly departed cancer-ridden mother DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN
I'm a skeptical squirrelZZZE-TA-JONEZ.
Gots a boner from seeing Zeta Jones. Such a babe.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenJennifer Hudson sure can sing. Also, I still have no desire to see Les Miz. But I didn't know Sacha Baron Cohen was in it.

Oooooh Aaaaaaaaaaron Tveit!
Always nice to see Mr.Jackman. Love that guy.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."So far Seth has been doing OK, though some of the jokes were awful (but that might not be his fault.) He makes a good host, admittedly. oh and the music numbers have been great.
His Ricky Gervais shtick is a little worn. He should try to be himself.

Let me guess: the Lincoln joke was bad?
I like how he wreck Chris Brown and Rihanna (like who hasn't?). Also the Zero Dark Thirty chick "being the type who is unable to give up" was hilarious.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -Mugen^^^ He's doing way better than I was expecting. I was almost afraid.

Same. Not too bad. His hosting is better than Sarah Silverman's for MTV movie awards.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenWell, hahhahaa.... it's a good thing the Academy never brings the same host back for a second year—OH WAIT!!! >:
Okay, so Chris Pine looks horrible with a beard. I liked him in Star Trek but he looks really scruffy here. Also Seth Macfarlane is actually fairly funny. Also I love his voice.

LOL
people are clapping for Ted as soon as Seth macfarlane mentioned it.
"You don't mean that!"
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -Mugen...Is that Teddy in CGI? Damn it's well-done.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."How do they do that thing with the animation and the live action?
Was that the one where Sarah joked about Paris Hilton's prison bars being painted like penises? /HoHoHo

I'm a skeptical squirrelI am starting to regret deeply not having watched Les Miserables. I must make amends.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."@Johnnyfrog
yeah. She used way more toilet humor than Seth used tonight(think the count is pretty non-existent).

WTF is up with the Jaws theme when winners talk too long? Was that Seth's idea?
