Little Busters!

I'm going to theorize that we will get a Time-loop Super-route. So, Komari's route may actually end in a reset, and every route might begin with Riki waking up from a Narcolepsy spell. In-fact, why does the Komari Route seem to be raising so many Bad End Flags?

I can't actually bring myself to watch this episode. I'll start watching again next week when it a more interesting story is going on.

Poor Komari, struggling with reality.

I don't know if Arha has infected me, but I wish I could feel more sympathy for her. Then again it is kind of absurd.

The solution to her problem was at least a little clever. If she can't comprehend reality directly, then give her an allegory wrapped up in a narrative. It's just a shame that the narrative and metaphor were ham-fisted.

And then BAM! Instantly better.

Okay, complaints about this route are well founded.

Episode 5: Man, all those emotions that I can't feel.

Aw, come on, feel bad for the kitty at least!

I don't care if it means I'm a pussy- Episode 6 made me cry.

Damn, I don't care a lot for Komari either and yet the episode got a couple of tears out of me.

Well, I admit J.C. Staff done well this episode, I just love how the Little Buster dynamics are retained instead of being glossed over like it was in the VN.

The ending felt a bit over-the-top, though.

Tons of foreshadowing right there.

i honestly felt nothing during this episode. the only thing i could think of was the lack of profession help for this traumatized girl

But how can she be moe and helpless and need our girly dashing hero if she reserves psychiatric assistance?

It's like how there are either no policemen or the policemen are useless in action shows- the responsibility is thrust on the main characters instead. Here, I never questioned why she didn't just get professional help because we expected the story to be restricted to the characters we already know.

"Well, she turns into a sobbing inconsolable wreck at the sight of death or blood... but hey, she looks pretty happy. I'd say she's fit to go to school."

Thanks for really getting me to laugh out loud.

Hey, we seen a hospital in this show before. Why didn't she just get treatment there? The old man said he'd prefer it if she didn't bump into him, but who's to say she would?

This episode was good, a lot of Haruka's antics, Masato vs Rin battle, a random Kud moment. Next episode will be about Kud so messing up that episode will be hard as Kud speaking perfect English ( Though her English in the anime is much better than her English in the VN, a shame really.). Also I feel Kyousuke doesn't have much energy in this episode. I couldn't feel his characteristic passion and energy, even in the last scene of the episode.

Hm. Didn't watch last episode, but it seems they are indeed doing the 'tell every route in one storyline' angle. That's a pity. A couple routes just won't work like that.

I think integrating their horseplay into part of the Haruka route setup with her fixing the desk was probably a good idea. It's a very minor change but it creates more of a connection to the rest of the group. One of the things I felt the VN lacked is more connection between the heroines and the main group.

Incidentally, even if this adaptation screws up a few more things I will forgive them if they adapt Sasami or Kanata's routes because I haven't read those yet. Not that they will but hey! Also, going by the next preview episode, they will earn bonus points if they include that joke.

The bucket of water above the doorway? Wow that's kinda retro. Classic though.

Same with the marbles, but that part was terribly animated (it looked like they were randomly sliding while a bunch of cgi marbles streamed past on another layer, although Kud slipping on them looked more natural).

Disciplinary committee confirmed to just be evil. And not even called out for it. In the end, they just (including Riki) just bowed to them (the fact that he actually stood up to them at all was a good thing though).

I'm not sold on doing every single heroine's route either, because I'm just not sold on these characters. I'd rather get to the heart of the matter.

Well, I think they're doing a good job with Haruka so far. I did not really like her much in the VN but she works better in an anime. And honestly we could just skip Kud's route, have her stand around being cute and I'd be satisfied. Same goes for Mio only replace cute with deadpan and we're good. In fact so long as we get Kurugaya's route I'll be happy (as far as adapting routes goes anyway) but I'm sure we won't because ha ha on you it doesn't fit.

Episode 6: I was honestly cringing throughout the episode. The greatest emotional impact it had on me was narm. Buckets of it (seriously, dead goldfish is a trigger?). Putting aside the content, the execution felt awkward too. It's lacking... the little things.

Episode 7: Decent episode. Enjoyed it much more than the previous one, though that may be because I like Haruka way, way more than Komari. There's also a bunch of actually-funny moments in this episode.

My guess for how they‘ll sort out the routes is that they‘ll have half the routes first, reset, then do the second half, then refrain.

I'm trying really hard not to be pessimistic, dismissive and annoying (Komari aside, but to my surprised gratification no one else seems to like her or her story either) so that's fine with me.

I'm enjoying Haruka way more here than I did when she was first seen, mainly because we got an episode to see her develop.

Is her arc all in one episode!? It seemed very much closed by the end!

Oh, and if you want to show people alien to this series and prove that Kyo Ani didn't animate it, show them the scene with the marbles on the floor! www-WOW. THAT is some POORLY-MESHED CG!!! My fuckin GOD!

Haruka's arc isn't over, no. Technically, it hasn't even begun except in that she's in the spotlight at the moment. The story is in common route territory right now.

Really old announcement time! So apparently we will be seeing Kurugaya route and it won't just be 26 episodes. I get the suspicion that it's not going to occur in the main storyline, though.

Okay... Second season? OVA? OVA seems more likely. Looks like they're going Clannad route... If so though, no route loop.... Which will suck

A second season would be possible if they adapted EX heroines, but yeah, it's not very likely.
