Do we know how many episodes this is supposed to be? A lot of guesswork about what would be needed was made but no one said how long it will be.
Anyway, yeah, I'm getting more disappointed with time.
Big VN spoilers: Kurugaya's route just is not going to work if they're really going for the super route instead of just keeping everyone together longer.

The number of DV Ds suggest 25 episodes + 1 special. So unless there's an announcement at the end of the airing, then we're looking at 2 cours like how CLANNAD was initially.

Hmmm I suppose that they could do something like (VN stuff again) Komari + Kurugaya for one loop, Kud, Haruka and Mio for another and finish up with Rin before going into Refrain. You know, something like that. Keep Rin, Kurugaya and Kud separate. Not all the routes require romance, though some do. That idea would piss shippers off, though. And it might take too much time. Still, you simply can't put all the routes together. It does not work.
More likely they'll just cut out that stuff altogether. Damn.

Take note that, even with Kyo Ani in CLANNAD, they pretty much gutted the last segments of the Kyou and Ryou's arcs and a good bit of Tomoyo's as well, not to mention Sanae's and Akio's. So it's entirely possible that they'd just ignore the other routes for this run of LB.
I know, I know, that's what'll happen. Let me hold onto my delusions a little longer! Actually, come to think of it Kud doesn't really need romance either since it would just require them to cut the skin painting scene. Or, ugh, make that a group activity. Okay, I guess that means only my favorite heroine would by necessity need to get their route sliced in half for a super route.
My main problem with a super-route is that it absolutely guts a metaphor that's central to the VN story: What Kyousuke tells Rin about old cats before the story, which Riki hears at the beginning of Rin2. That metaphor is an entire half of the story, and it's the reason for an immense number of stylistic choices and structure elements within the greater story. (Or, at least, an absolutely incredible retroactive justification.)
People should not be allowed to adapt works they do not understand. It results in works that bear surface resemblances to the source and lack all of the nuance.

Well only 4 episodes are aired so far, we don't even know if they will have a second season. I think it's too early to make assumptions. I think so far, the anime has the spirit of the common route and we'll see how anime handles the most disliked route of the game.
My hatoful Monster Girlfriend is the President Ecstasy: Higurashi After in Summer (All ages memorial edition)Oh, it's not just me that hates Komari's route?
Something very weird for this episode. But what does it mean?
I can't help but feel that everything is foreshadowing.
And of course I can't help but wonder how the answer for this mystery will be given without giving away the entire truth (unless it's really nothing strange at all). I mean, if they really feel the need to continue to conceal a large part of the premise.
Well I an assuming based on what I have heard that there's more to this scenario than meets the eye.

Is that significant? Not a spoiler?
No. Just my guess.
It seems I somehow droped this show. So just want ask, were last episode awesome enough, that I should think it was mistake of my life and return to it?

Um. It's okay. It's heading in a direction that is likely to annoy me in the future, however.
Episode 04 shows the first signs of depth to a few characters, and the first trace of an actual arc.
Hmm, well, the 'find the secret of the world' thing is mostly Rin arc, so if they pursue that then that means they're doing a super arc.
Episode 4: Still feels like the scenes are just pasted together.
There does seem to be an arc, and I'm pretty sure a lot of the episode was foreshadowing. Komari's a little too, err, cheerful, or happy, or something like that, for my tastes. And I can't drum up my interest for what's to come.
Kurugaya is really cool, can't wait for her arc. Hell if I know if it'll even get animated.
Came across this thread on MAL while I was looking up this week's BD sales. Here's the important bit:
The future sure looks bright. At least the anime won't be ruined by time constrains. The question is, how will they animate Kurugaya's route? It has scenes that won't make sense in a non-romantic route. I want my Romantic President, Loli-Loli Hunters, I don't wanna be afro scenes. I always assumed that she will get an OVA episode.

My hatoful Monster Girlfriend is the President Ecstasy: Higurashi After in Summer (All ages memorial edition)^ Even apart from that, the drama point of her route will not fit into the stories of the other girls or Rin.
Episode is out. Baseball practice!
In the Visual Novel all my sympathy in this route went to the dead kitten that as forgotten about in five minutes. Komari just couldn't get a reaction out of me.

Yeah, I think they're drawing this out a bit too much for the dramatic moments to have proper impact.
And I do wonder if the studio really gets this material.
While I am interested to find out more ( they cut like, right there) I consider that the cheapest way to hook the audience.
When exactly did the subs for this get posted?
Yesterday.
It's almost certainly a super-route. Well, so much for this adaptation. Maybe they'll try again in a few years.
