As much as I love Engie, this is a pretty bad case of JAFAAC. Agree with the pull.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.+1 to pull.
Exact sentiments I have. Love Team Fortress 2, don't think this image works.

Moon◊It doesn't show someone who either looks Southern or smart.
Check out my fanfiction!Interestingly, the edit history shows that a different pic of the engineer was up before, got axed for JAFAAC, and then this one showed up and just sat there for 2 years.
Kill image.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.I have beaten the image off the page with a wrench.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. So, I think we can turn this into a fairly reasonable image.
EDIT: Like so

Belief or disbelief rests with you.Kentucky-Fried-Chicken guy anyone? Can't spell his name, and spellcheck is no help.
Colonel Sanders? What about him says genius? I mean sure, he was good at marketing, but he's hardly famous for his genius (well, unless you count his culinary talent)
I stand corrected. The examples say that qualifies him. I still don't think he'd make a great image, though: when most people look at the Colonel they don't think "innovator of gastronomic sciences", they think "buckets of chicken".

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Those He Man actionfigures actually illustrate the trope, even if the image leaves some quality lacking.
Check out my fanfiction!petrie's image looks pretty good.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Dixie Man works for me.
Robot Chicken works for me.
Bump; anyone else?
8 is OK.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.One or two more votes for that one and we can run with it.
The suggestion works well enough for me.
Good enough; it's up, potholed, and tagged. Caption or no? I was thinking something like "And as y'all can see, the smaller static co'fishint means this engine'll go lickety-split." or something like that.
Approved, lifted to page, tagged and potholed.
ETA: Oh, there was an edit collision.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI put the original tag back.
I forgot to star this one...hearing nothing else, let's lock up and move on.
Just a picture of the engineer from Team Fortress 2 with a long-winded caption. Nowhere in the pic does it suggest that he's southern nor a genius. Motion to pull.
