Heh. I agree with that sentiment now that you bring it up.
Oh well. Back to hate.
One Strip! One Strip! Her siding with Prometheus is really the biggest blunder of her character. It would have made more sense for her to be against both of them since they are both murders.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaPerhaps she is siding with Prometheus against Oliver because he is responsible for Prometheus' existence in the first place, basically following Chase's Revenge Myopia logic.

So when they got to Netflix I finished out the season of all the shows.
Looking at Arrow it is definitely an improvement over seasons three and four, but I wouldn't say it is quite up to par with the first two seasons. The flashback story was probably the most compelling since season one, helped in that like the rest of the season it keeps the stakes small and personal rather than apocalyptic/fate of the city. In fact, it's quite refreshing that Star(ling) City doesn't have a new 9/11-esque event this season. No Undertaking, Siege, Outbreak or threat of Nuclear Holocaust. "Terrorized by a Serial Killer" seems rather quaint in comparison to most of what the city has dealt with.
The key problem I found was that Prometheus obsession with Oliver was so psychotic that his end goal lacked a real evolution with an arc to it. It was essentially keep threatening the people close to him and draw it out as long as possible as mental torture. He also fell into a problem where his ability to accomplish certain things by himself and a handful of others became suspect, a problem with a number of villains ever since The Joker in The Dark Knight. I liked that Prometheus was a shadowy figure watching Church's operation in the first quarter of the season, and a few of his tricks were genuinely clever. My favorite episode was "Underneath," it was a Closed Circle that broke down a lot of the character issues of the last two seasons.
Manu Bennett is officially back as a regular guest star (at least) in Season 6 bitcheees http://www.cbr.com/arrow-deathstroke-return-confirmed/

Wild Dog was injured on the island and Slade gets a job in the mayors office as Quentin's new assistant. He wears Clark Kent glasses and zero people recognise him.
Well Slade redeeming himself would be a far more believable thing than the BS they tried to pull with Malcolm, that's for sure.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!They could do a pretty interesting take on the comic version of Deathstroke, who is a villain but generally very professional about it. If Slade decides to cut his redemption short and become a mercenary (for what reason, I wouldn't know. Maybe he doesn't need one; what else is there for him at this point?) he could be a recurring villain with a genuine friendship with Ollie.
It was mentioned in Season 2 that he had done work as a mercenary in order to raise the funds for his "wreck Oliver Queen's life" plan, though we never got to see any of it. He might go back to that work simply because, hey, a guy's gotta eat.
I think he should join Team Arrow fulltime. It would make for a perfect team dynamic and bromance.
He could also share The Lancer position with Diggle.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I like this show, but Oliver's morality is really annoying sometimes. As in, people can vigilante, but can only vigilante his way. It's pretty annoying seeing the team call out Felicity for what she does while they've been doing similar stuff for the past four years.
I suspect that this trailer is lackluster, but the final product will probably be better than Flash, Legends, or Supergirl's current season. Pretty much what happened last season.
2 minutes of recap.....buuuut Slade at the end, jay!

But yeah, I want all the shows to be good this season. However, I'm hoping that Flash becomes the best show again this year. Arrow is good and all, but Flash at its best is an absolutely amazing show.
Agreed. Although, Oliver gets called out on that too. Usually, when he tries to tell Thea, Laurel, Felicity, or Diggle to not make the same damn questionable choices he makes, they call him out on his bullshit hypocrisy. That's just Oliver's protective streak, though. No one takes him seriously. Then again if they did, people like Laurel would still be alive.

Is it truly hypocrisy when those times come when Ollie listened to them and consciously trying not to be that person? Since when people complain about Ollie trying to remind people of what they taught him, it comes off more just Ollie's position is always wrong no matter what side of the equation he's on.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.Is it hypocrisy? Oh yes, most definitely. Like I say all of the time: Every character on Arrow is a hypocrite.
It's a show about vigilantes, it's going to be hard to avoid hypocrisy on some level. However, yeah, Oliver kind of gets the short end of the stick. Sometimes it's very warranted, like the majority of Seasons Three and Four. Other times, Oliver's just trying to his best to protect the people closest to him. Season 5 did that pretty well, except for that one little arc when he was working with Anatoly to catch Prometheus and punched Diggle in the face for getting in his way. Then got mad at Felicity for doing the same thing he literally just did.

I just saw the finale on Netflix. Probably my favorite finale in the series so far. I really liked the thematic end of the island (him getting off iron flashback and the island's destruction in the present).
Lilah really makes me wanna see Earth 2 Team Arrow even more than before.

That's gonna be interesting. Kara and Ollie came to something of an understanding, but his methods are very different from hers.
More to the point, he's willing to torture people to get the information he wants (though I don't know if he really still does that anymore) and Kara might not be down with that.
I'm just interested in seeing what will bring them together. Thematically, Kara is more tied to Barry, while Oliver is more connected to the Legends, despite his show being the most grounded of the three (he's appeared in 4 episodes of Legends, while Barry has only been in one).
Switching it up is interesting.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Yeah, Season 5 was pretty great, but I still think people really overhype the first two seasons as if they were groundbreaking seasons of television. They really weren't.
I also disagree with his critique on Felicity and Diggle. Diggle is far from "useless" (especially in comparison to the other characters) and I just don't get the hate for Felicity in season 5. Or...at all really.

Didn't people here explain why they didn't like the character quite a few times?
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee Costa
If that was the intent, they botched it with her idiotic whining over Oliver being killer. If she'd been working with Prometheus from the start, they could've left out that bit and just have her tell Oliver that she was a mole the whole time. The only way that line makes sense is if Prometheus told her to say that line to get under Oliver's skin.
Honestly, I sincerely hope she gets blown to smithereens on the island: http://imgur.com/a/McKMj
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?
