What's the game about?
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.Huh... I didn't know that Wa W would be talked about here.
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!Hey, when isn't the Web at War?
Now that that obligatory joke is out of the way, the project looks pretty cool. The sprites on the Know Your Meme forum post look pretty good, and as soon as I saw a Cheetahman and the Hungry Pumpkin as characters, I was hooked. Good luck to you on this cool game.
Thanks.
Hmm, maybe there should be a page...
I'll think about it.
Gavan, Let's get jiggy! If it saves you the time, I could make the page. I don't know all of the information yet, do you have a link maybe?
If you're going to do this, you're going to need some information:
These two threads hold information on my project: http://interplosion.com/topic294.html http://knowyourmeme.com/forums/just-for-fun/topics/17971-web-at-war-an-internet-crossover-fighter
Also, does your last name happen to be Arch?
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!Does this guy have any movesets or gameplay done, because so far all he has is idle animations.
A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.I have done other stuff like some parts of the movesets, some of the scripts and some of the stages. I even made a teaser a while back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6EffaDf8qg&list=UU8F8EXSpWAg1fmCwUGcP_Kg&index=2&feature=plcp
So the progress at the moment is pretty good. I did reveal the backstory of the two original main characters, Diamond Channel and Unu Verzal, on the KYM thread: Channel and Verzal used to be a part of an interdimensional crime fighting team, before the rest of their team died during a mission. Channel was knocked unconscious and mistaken for dead, while Verzal’s limp body was thrown into space. While Channel recovered at the team’s organization, Verzal landed on a foreign planet inhabited by a dangerous alien species, the Staroll, and experimented on. Thus, Channel has a new life suit and Verzal was transformed into Staroll himself. Long story short, Channel and Verzal became rivals, and their latest fight near the Multiverse’s core caused this whole event to happen.
This will hopefully help Leonard's research.

Gavan, Let's get jiggy!Doesn't sound like a very speical or ever well-thought out story, especially since the game's supposed to be all about internet memes.
It's just the backstory of the OG characters, everyone else in the game will also have cutscenes to tell their view point of the whole event. There's even going to be a cutscene where Homestar uses Strong Bad's computer to play SBURB, but I don't to give out too much info just yet.
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!I think I have enough information to start an article now. Just gotta put two and two together. I'm pretty sure with the little plot points you revealed I can still get some tropes out of.

I'm actually interested...the line-up looks fine so far, especially since it includes a few "WTF" characters from the older days of the Internet.
Interested on how this will play.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.I got a really good suggestion on KYM, and now I'm thinking of making the stages crossovers as well, a la PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

Gavan, Let's get jiggy!Here ya go: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WebAtWar
I'll put more information when you reveal more stuff.
Whow! Thanks!
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!
I was on a website called Interplosion and I noticed a thread called Web at War.
Apparently this guy named Rinsankajugin is making a crossover fighting game of the same name. From what I can tell, he's doing this game just for the heck of it. Should we document it, and if so should well tell him?
EDIT: There he is!
