The memory thing seemed unique to the First King, and required a bloodline connection on top of that.
Man, I wasn't sure whether it was funny or tragic when Erwin flashbacked to that question he asked in the classroom and his body unconsciously responded.
I did appreciate the contrasting of Armin's ambitions with Erwin's lack of any dreams for after the war...a poignant symbol of what they've been through. Still, RIP Erwin, I'll miss you.
(So I was wrong about Levi and Mikasa not getting to the point of a physical confrontation, but so it turns out that Levi's condition is so poor right now that it was over in a second. I suppose any legendary Ackermann grudge matches will have to wait, now that Kenny's gone.)
Oh, and I don't think Hanji's survival was all that unreasonable. Now we have a better explanation of it too, though Moblit didn't make it...damn.
I didn't like this chapter at first because I missed Erwin knocking away Levi on my first read.
After noticing that I liked the end result much more. Although I still think it would have been more interesting for Armin to have died.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome Robwe finally got to the basement. its been how many years???
Turns out humanity isn't extinct beyond the wall.
So basically this is the Manga version of The Village.
Mileena MadnessI don't think RBA's Village is what the picture is talking about since it was raided by the titans and doesn't sound more advance than the wall country
When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons. So then... Zeke is Eren's half-brother then... right?
Zeke was grumbling about his father, and warned Eren about being brainwashed or whatever by his father, and there's a small boy with light hair in that picture that was probably taken decades ago so...
Also holy shit I hope Carla was okay with all of this
ain't that just the way...That's … not what I expected.
Sure we knew that there were some humans outside the walls… but I didn't expect there to be an actually modern and prosperous society. Well, "modern"… from the photo it looks more late-19th/early-20th-ish.
That brings a lot of questions that'll probably get answered to some extent next chapter… Still you can feel the chapter was more polished than usual, graphically speaking. That was a good buildup there.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Titans are nanomechanical in nature, calling it.
and for some reason the people on tumblr think the pictures was only thing their despite the fact we see three books.
When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons. There's your problem.
I actually need to read this chapter and the last, like, two or three. I'll do so when today's chapter is live on CR.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Wow... so we did get there. Using the first part of the chapter as recap/denouement and the second part as buildup makes the chapter feel kinda short... but considering that is The Revelation of the whole series, it sort of deserves a chapter all for itself. :P
I must say I'm pretty satisfied that everything was set straight regarding last chapter's choice. Especially Hange making it clear that she wasn't okay with it.
Still… That revelation means There's basically a completely isolated country the size of fucking France, surrounded by a gigantic, titan-infested no-man's land… all in the middle of civilization?
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. My guess is that there's another enclave with better technology, not that there is an entire society surrounding the no man's zone.
Wild Mass Guessing revolving around a 4th wall has been there since day 1 IIRC.
Maybe the whole planet has a bunch of concentric rings stretching around it.
Spoiler alert: the setting is actually Australia. Not alternate-world Australia, just normal Australia.
If the shifters' leader is Immortan Joe, I can live with that.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. That reveal made me think - b-but I know that already... That was kinda obvious.
For me, most of the latest chapter was good. Just the reveal felt lacking.
On the Erwin vs Armin issue, right now, my vote is for Sasha turning Titan. Cause even though I like Erwin and Armin and especially overprotective of the latter (cause Shingeki merchandisers kept on ignoring him), I still think their very well done "death scenes" were wasted and disrespected by that (oh noes, who are we going to pick?) chapter.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines. While we knew that some people live outside the walls (RBA) they were still living under titan rule. So this reveal still came as a surprise. And we still have three books to go through.
When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons.Hopefully we'll get to know the stuff written in those books next chapter. I am not optimistic however; makes more sense to drip feed the information as we go along.
So with the recent reveals, will the heroes find out in the future that they are in a sort of Plato's Cave scenario, where everything outside the walls that they thought was barren/a Titan apocalypse is actually anything but?
That's because nowadays twists are impossible, with the internet brainstorming everything.
You sure about that? I don't think Ymir gained Marcel's memories… Eren had a few flashbacks of Frieda at best.
