She's not dying, just not in very good shape.

They said in the chapter that while she is badly wounded, she is very much alive and has no fatal injuries. Seriously main cast just don't die in this show. I thought I accept someone had died when their head destroy but then comes in the plot armor titan

I think Reiner is genuinely immortal now.

Personally I'd like it if Armin died and Erwin lives. I think it'd be a more interesting dynamic that way. Since it's the logical choice to make. But not the one Eren and Mikasa want.

Guys obviously the serum won't work form some reason and both Erwin and Armin die

She is still badly wounded and can't really be treated. While the enemy has been repelled, she's still a dead weight.

Hanji would not, in fact, mention the serum if she wasn't wounded badly enough to require it. Of course, both Armin and Erwin need it much more.

There's only one though. Only one of the two can be saved.

I'm still amused Hange only got a flesh wound from all that.

Jean was the one who suggested using the serum and he admits that Sasha doesn't actually need it.

Also Rod Reiss Transform on fumes/ what ever was still liquid. And the box has two needles. And Isayama has shown he is willing to reach into the absurd to not have anyone die.

And Hange somehow survived the colossal explosion.

Yeah it was brought up that Sasha while wounded is not in bad shape, So if they are going to use the serum it should be on someone who needs it.

That is fair enough.

However, as Rod's example demonstrated, you need a Shifter to not become a mindless beast. That we only have one, unless you also count Eren in.

So at the end of the day, one of the two has to die.

They don't need to have a second shifter on the shot. Ymir was a titan for 60 years. They can just capture one of them until they can get them some titan shifter dinner.

They could use the starfish method on Reiner,might work.

Capture? With what? They're all out of gas… Unless Armin's titan is a midget.

Willing to make a bet his Titan will probably be a Bishōnen or something if he is picked. Atleast up until he eats a shifter. Then he will be a skinless Titan

They do have a second shifter on hand. His name is Eren. Isayama actually wrote himself into a position where he has to actually kill somebody.

So what if Levi accidentally sticks himself? They'd have to feed him Bert, but how tall would his Colossal form be?

If titan Armin turns out to look like the one in the fake preview◊ I'm done.

That image is why I'm feeling like Armin's staying down. Because if they use the serum on him, either his titan form will look like that, which would be silly, or it won't, which would also be silly.

Remember that Titan!Eren and Shifter!Eren looked kinda different...

Not to mention Frieda's titan which was a dead ringer for Historia.

I agree though - I just can't picture titan Armin in any serious capacity. Fighting's never been his strong suit.

Maybe his titan will be intelligent right from the start?

I guess some have to be. If everyone needs to eat a shifter to become a shifter then we've got an infinite turtle regress on our hands.

Unless some of the serums, rather than stuff like "harden", had stuff like "shifter".

We still don't know how the situation came to be, after all.

They can capture the titan they create by just leaving them in shiganshia until they are ready. nobody is going to be living there for a long time.

It's not like these titans can leave Shiganshina, right? Not.

I mean, there's a huge hole in the wall both Bert and Reiner made at the very beginning of the story.

@Shifter Serum: If that proves to be the case, I will be sorely disappointed.

both gates are sealed. Eren fix one of them when he got to shiganshia and fixed the other one doing Armin's plan for defeating the colossal titan.
