Not exact, but closely. They have a different caption, though.
They are also both all text. Think of replacing Dare to Be Badass since it might as well be a page quote.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree that it should be taken off of Dare to Be Badass, not Excuse Plot. It simply works better for Excuse Plot.

Same image cropped differently = same image. Doesn't have to be literally the same file.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.+1 to take the pic off Dare to Be Badass.
Definitely better on Excuse Plot.
Moon◊Tag switched accordingly.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSome military recruitment posters: Marines (old)◊, Marines (new)◊, Artillery◊
There's any number of these that could work, these are just the first three that really caught my eye, especially the third.
I really hate the whole "real men" thing, but it makes the third pic great for the page.
Bit artifacted, though.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.I agree that the current is great for Excuse Plot.
I also agree that #8.3 works for Dare to Be Badass.

Bump; anyone else?
I prefer Willbyr's first suggestion. The third suggestion is basically all text.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Agreed, I like the first one better. Pics should show, not tell.
I don't see the dare at all in that pic. It's more of a simple question. "Do you want to get some action? We'll treat you gently. But it's okay if you don't want to." To me it would even be misleading.
Sure, show is better than tell, but telling is still better than not showing.
Check out my fanfiction!I tend to agree; the third poster is the most clear at expressing the "dare" aspect of the trope...and honestly, if you can't be sussed to take the maybe 2 seconds it would take to read the text in that pic, that's a sad level of laziness.
Agreed 100%

Just to add, I think this trope does well with text. A large part of the trope is verbal, as it involves a challenge of some kind. A poster is still an image, even if it's mainly text. However, that piece of picture alone illustrates that it is a for of call-out to someone — an important part of the trope — so it's absolutely not relying solely on the text.
Check out my fanfiction! So these two tropes still have the same image.
I think the image for DTBB needs to express the difference (such as there is one) between this and Call to Adventure, which I think the Artillery recruitment poster does well.
Should we get a crowner to settle it? After this time, I'm not sure it's going to pay much by waiting to see if more suggestions come.
Check out my fanfiction!I like the third suggestion, for what it's worth. It's the most clear about the "dare" aspect, and as noted, the fact that it's formatted as a poster does help explain the trope. If you removed the formatting and just left the words it wouldn't be as effective.
Reaction Image RepositoryBump again. I found a few more possibles...I plan on starting a crowner soon, but I'd like to get some opinions on these before choosing options.

I still like the artillery one better.
The second I don't like at all, the third and forth don't speak up to me, and the first feels more like, "You're our only hope".

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Excuse Plot It's a duplicate with Dare to Be Badass.
I am guessing one of those should be replaced.
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.
