[up]Best way for that to happen would be for the game to have an open source code. If the community jumps in and helps with the modding, the game should begin to flourish, in addition to any patches and the like.

Well the game certainly isn't going to be nearly as complex as Dwarf Fortress. That would take decades.

But I'm sure they could come out with something reasonable.

They certainly do seem to be putting their backs into it, not to mention their hearts.

Dungeons of Dredmor certainly isn't as complex as Nethack, Angband or ADOM. Yet, it's one of the best rogue-likes in existence. I'm confident that they can do something great with Clockwork Empires.

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.

Not nearly a good enough singer for the Choir Invisible, and the Basement Room With A Synth Invisible is much less prestigious.

A part of me is quietly wishing that someone would make a Fallout mod of this game when it comes out. It would fit SO PERFECTLY into that universe!

Hmm. What other tropes belong in there?

It seems like it could be rather troperriffic, but I'm not that experienced with finding the right tropes.

Plus, we know basically nothing about the game at this point.

This thread has been quiet for a bit thought I would share some gameplay footage from March. They are apparently getting into the end phases of this game.
