I made a thread for Kamen Rider once, but nobody ever paid any attention to it.
Anyway, I saw Forever Red the other day, and was thinking, "why not do something like that for Kamen Rider"? Not like Kamen Rider Decade, but a single mission where all ten Heisei (main character) Riders have to join forces to save Japan/the world/the universe/whatever.
Or, we could mix it up and use the Second Rider (or another Rider) and substitute from the shows after Decade.
Example of what I mean by that:
- Kuuga
- Kiva
- Femme
- Faiz
- Den-O
- Double
- Fourze
- DiEnd
- Blade
- the Hibiki Rider that plays strings, can't remember the name.
Huh? You mean strings from a harp (Shuki) or strings from a guitar? (Todoroki/Zanki)
The one with the guitar. I've only seen the Decade episodes of Hibiki, where the only three Riders in that world were Hibiki the percussionist, a guitarist, and one with a French Horn.
Yeah. That's Todoroki alright. The one with the french horn is Ibuki.
I just needed a quick tenth Rider and The Power of Rock presented itself...
With Diend and Todoroki there, they can kill a monster with The Power of Rock.
That and the All rider kick were the best parts of Decade. That show just didn't achieve it's full potential.
One Strip! One Strip!I liked the crossover with Shinkenger quite a bit. But then again, ShinkenRed had some lines that made me tear up a little bit...
KRD: Based on what?
SR: Nothing.
Plus it opened the door to Super Hero Taisen.
A full blown Kamen Rider / Super Sentai crossover.
There's no way we won't see more either.
Plus Yusuke got to do something in that ep as well. He sure needed it.
One Strip! One Strip!Super Hero Taisen was inevitable either way. It's a good way to earn money.
It took them a damned long time though.
Then again, Kamen Rider was cancelled during the 90's so maybe it couldn't be helped.
Either that, or Masked Rider let a very painful scar.
One Strip! One Strip!Nah. Masked Rider began long after Black RX ended.
Oh, yay, a Toku Thread! -grin-
I should really fix my mind on finishing one of the fifty billion series I've started right now. Shinkenger, Goseiger, Go-busters, Timeranger, Carranger, Go Go Five, Maskman, Ohranger, Kabuto, Agito, Faiz, Kuuga, RX, GARO...
The only series I've actually finished are Gekiranger, Gokaiger and Blade. And Akibaranger.
I'm watching Black right now, though, and I love the heck out of it. There's so much old-skool awesomeness in it that it practically leaks out of everything that's not held down. Black's suit is awesome. His henshin sequence is awesome. His fights are a strange retro awesome. His moves are awesome. (RAIDAAA PANCH!) His character is intensely awesome. (RAIDAAAA KIKKU!) Shadow Moon is especially awesome.
Who needs weapons when you can beat Golgom to a pulp with your hands and legs?
Must write something for him. Probably something to tie up the time in between Black and Black RX.

'Being around you guys makes me go "wtf" instead of pondering the ever increasing dread of time' - EchoingSilence, 2023Now, I've posted this in another forum, but I feel like putting it here because it's a good idea, though I'm not motivated to write it.
I have an idea for a Goseiger fanfic based off a fandub of it.
Pretty much it takes place in the future, where the video game industry died because of the over abundance of cutthroat tactics that treated the customer more like a criminal than an actual customer. Things such as day-1 DLC ala Mass Effect 3, Disk-locked Content ala Street Fighter x Tekken, having to stay online to play the game ala Diablo 3 etc, and one of the games that killed the industry was a game called Planet Guardians that employed a tactic where it would be incomplete and you needed to download some DLC (and pay more money) to complete the game. When the industry died, the company who made the game, Tensou Gosei, shut down, never releasing the final packs to the game.
Five kids enter a game shop that is going out of business, and they come across a scientist who is trying to reboot the video game industry via virtual reality. He asked the kids to volunteer and they all agree for unique reasons (one is bored out of their minds, another just wants to look out for his sister, etc.) and they all get hooked up into a machine. The scientist then loads up Planet Guardians, but then something bugs up and it traps the kids inside the game. And now they must try to beat the game... Yes, they must complete the game that was never complete. However, the game thinks they are characters in the game (represented by a floating head), and appropriates them with the technology to become the Planet Guardians, though one of them just decides it would be better if they called themselves the Power Rangers. And so, Power Rangers: Planet Guardians begins.
Naturally, this leads to an interesting situation. Much like in Goseiger, the Power Rangers unlock a bunch of the Headders early on (due to the fact that said headders are Day-one DLC) and they beat Warstar. The game isn't over however, as it then sends the incomplete data at them, which are the Yuumajuu (or as I'll call them, Goylegars). However, there's also a piece of incomplete data that was supposed to be a super secret unlockable character, but due to the fact that he's incomplete, he bugs out and attacks the rangers early on, as well as have all their powers. Bladerun's also reinterpreted, as he too glitches out and becomes a Goylegar as well, despite the fact that he was supposed to be a villain for Warstar. He then becomes aware that he's in a video game and seeks to get into the real world...
Some time near the end, pirates hack into the game, and show that they mean business by hacking the game so that they would become other Power Rangers and seal the Planet Knight (Goseiknight) into data in the shape of a key. They also infect the game with a virus, and so the representative of the game, the giant head, becomes distorted. Anyone who's seen Go-Busters would see where this is going.
And so now the Rangers must not only defeat the Pirates, but also an aware Bladerun who, throughout the course of the series, learned how to mod the game and created his own faction: Matrintis. Not only that, but they also must try to debrainwash the corrupted game, who now calls himself "Messiah".
Whoa. That's some deep shit right there.
... FUND IT.
-chucks Medals at the screen- TAKE MY CELL MEDALS, DANGIT! I ALREADY TOLD YOU TO DO EEEEEEET.
'Being around you guys makes me go "wtf" instead of pondering the ever increasing dread of time' - EchoingSilence, 2023I remember some folks I talked about with SS/PR being a Super Robot...
And I don't know how that can work in a SRW story I'm planning...
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Great... three Kamen Rider Fourze ideas are looming in my head...
- One Fourze idea is Fourze in the style of Gokaiger, where Gentaro meets up with most of the legendary riders from the past and gains their powers, complete with a Basco style character, though he wound up backstabbing the bad guys instead of the good guys in the beginning.
- Another Fourze idea is a dark take on the show, and many aspects of the show are changed, from the hero being a Shrinking Violet whose Berserk Button is the harming of her friends, to the fact that Horoscopes die upon defeat, to the fact that half of the Horoscopes just want to live their normal lives and don't care about attacking Japan or whatever, to the fact that the Cosmic Switch works just like a Zodiarts Switch and reacts to the user's emotions, warping them into a monster.
- And one final Fourze idea where the roles are switched around, with the Horoscopes being the KRC, and the KRC being the Horoscopes.
The problem is that I don't think I have the time or effort to pull these off greatly.

First and second ideas sound pretty cool, though I don't quite understand the third one.
Huh, that would be the simplistic one. Pretty much the Horoscopes and KRC switch roles, so meaning Goto/Capricorn Zodiarts would be in JK's role while JK would be in Goto's, Ohsugi would be in Sonada's role while Sonada will be in Ohsugi's, and so forth and so forth.
And before you ask, yes, Yuki will keep her role for obvious reasons.
So... the Zodiarts are good guys and Fourze is the villain?
In a sense, yes. Just that the villains have Fourze's stuff and Fourze has the villain's stuff.
Now I'm even more confused...
Okay, I just got an idea for a crossover - I'd like to see it done with Faiz or Fourze, but it'd probably work the best with Den-O or Power Rangers Time Force.
A professor has been working on the Peak Point Helmet, which increases the intelligence of whoever wears it. By a lot. The somehow helmet winds up on an albino ape named Specter, who then proceeds to create helmets for all the other apes and leads them in a rebellion intending to Take Over the World, leaving Kamen Rider and/or the Power Rangers to catch 'em all and put a stop to the mass Ape Escape...
All Played for Laughs and/or Crazy Awesome, of course.
Now I'm considering a Power Rangers RPM / Neptunia crossover, considering that the events of mk2 and of RPM coincide with each other (see the Grand Unified Timeline). The highlights would be:
1. Venjix stealthily making his way through Gamindustri, infecting what remains of Arfoire and the Gamindustri Graveyard for a new battle body.
2. Blanc being reminded to keep her potty mouth shut, since PR is mainly a kids' show. This will be a Running Gag throughout the story.
3. Of course, epic transformation and roll call!

How far will your 20 pesos go?
Alright, I've decided to make a fanfiction thread for the entire Tokusatsu genre (if you don't know and don't wanna click the link, I'm talking Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Power Rangers, Ultraman, etc.), since it has a pretty small fanbase here and there's about a couple of Tokusatsu franchises I can count with both hands and still have fingers.
It pretty much works like the other "All Purpose {Insert Work} Fan Fiction" threads, so... yeah.
