Persona: Fractured Dreams RP Sign Up and Interest Check

Aw man, I wanted an Emperor character. I guess I'll have to settle for something else.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, we have two Judgements so far(Claus and Daniel), so I suppose two Emperors shouldn't be a problem.

That being said, we need more women into our party. Take Empress. :3

Question: Do people die if they're in the dream-induced coma for too long?

Actually, after looking again, I think I might change mine to Justice instead. EDIT: Or perhaps Hierophant. Hmm... This is going to take some thinking over.

Plus, I still don't even know if mine is accepted or not. (And if not, what might need to be changed.)

Based off second hand knowledge of the games, I think so, but I'm not certain.

If they pick reality, they can come back. If they pick dreams? Their heart, mind and soul are devoured, leaving them in the comatose state forever. Not essentially dead, but close enough.

Alright, I have a question. I got a little lost earlier while rereading some of these posts. If our character does not start off with any knowledge of their persona's, then what happens? I mean I think I get the gist of how the characters will obtain their persona, but I guess I am asking for a little clarity, if you don't mind. (I apologize if this is an ignorant question.)

If they have no prior knowledge of personas, then they'll probably have to go through emotional turmoil to get one. That's how I see it.

Yeah I plan on starting Persona less.

Since I was thinking about it, do we want to have any characters know each other already (thus forming the "foundation" of the group) or when the RP starts will we act as though it's our characters first time meeting each other. Alternatly, does it make since for any characters to know of the others in-universe?

Just something to think about.

I was thinking the characters that already have Personas know each other, and the ones that don't... I don't know.

Maybe they go to the same school?

Back, had to go to work, sorry. And yeah, after looking at the tarot cards a little more closely, I've settled on Hierophant for Daniel, since it fits him better. Edited.

I was planning on Daniel basically starting persona-less. And probably weaponless, too.

It might make sense for some of them to know each other; particularly the ones in the same school might be acquainted.

That said, I wouldn't necessarily say they're all friends already. For instance I can't imagine why Daniel would have any prior reason to hang out with a satanist that regularly carries a concealed shotgun.

I agree that it makes sense for the Persona user to know each other for the most part. The people who go to the school would have vague knowledge of those in the same grade I would imagine at the least. Since it looks like most of the characters are around the same age, 17-18ish, they could have a school club that is anti-Shadow along the same line as SEES and the investigation team perhaps.

Seems like a good idea. P3 had SEES, P4 had the investigation team. I could see Reiki starting something like that up.

I can certainly see Chris helping her found it what with his "I must use my power to help people" way of thinking.

I could see my character being curious about the anti-Shadow club, but not joining it initially, since he thinks it was All Just a Dream.

I'd imagine that Daniel wouldn't be in the club at the start, but would join shortly.

Like, in the first day or so.

Co-founder it is, and I almost agree, I think Asuna and Liz are on the same tier. Also it's funny since I used Kirito as the appearance of Chris. Anyways, I'm now more excited for this to start now. I think I'll channel my excitement into P4a for now, trying to learn Yosuke and my brain is not used to super-fast Sukukaja shenanigans.
