I think it works well. I looked through the actual examples on the page, but nothing really struck me as potentially better.
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah, I also looked at the examples and couldn't really find anything good. I know it would be Fan Myopic of me to suggest a picture of Mulder sleeping on the couch and it wouldn't be obvious to someone whose never seen the The X-Files that he sleeps on the couch all the time.
Momentum, a function of mass and velocity, is conserved between portals. In layman's terms: speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out.I like the suggestion, though it can't be very comfy!
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I'm not sure I'd count sleeping on a couch unusual at all. I do it all the time.
Check out my fanfiction!Along the lines of the Kyle XY suggestion, there's this. I'm afraid that I honestly don't remember clearly whether this is depicted as a usual sleeping-place for the character, but I suspect that it was.
(I don't know whether images from IMDB are fair game, so my apologies if they are not. ^^; )
My Games & WritingProposal: A 2-panel shot from Aliens, the first of a shot of the Marines jostling around in the dropship, and the second of Hicks asleep in his harness.
The problem with this trope is that we need to find a way to show that the character regularly sleeps in the weird place. Whether that be a bathtub, a cupboard or a cardboard box.
Yes, IM Db images are fair game. I do like that suggestion, though.
Momentum, a function of mass and velocity, is conserved between portals. In layman's terms: speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out. It's probably possible, somehow, to illustrate that it's a common place to sleep. It's not easy, though. The only thing I can think of is that the location somehow looks worn in. A collage could work, if the person is wearing different clothes, so it's clearly different times.
Check out my fanfiction! That's not a bad idea. So if we're going for a collage idea, then an example from something with multiple episodes would be better than an example from a movie or something unless the movie shows the person sleeping in the odd place multiple times.
Momentum, a function of mass and velocity, is conserved between portals. In layman's terms: speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out.I'm thinking Snoopy from Peanuts. But I could only find one panel from the original so far where he's sleeping on his usual roof. (And one in which he's complaining that sleeping in his owner's lap on a couch is uncomforable for him.)
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.I like 12.1 12.3. The last frame?

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.#3's the best of those strictly because of Woodstock and his feet hanging off the edge of the roof.
Yeah I like 12.3 best too. I was trying to find a strip that makes it evident that the roof is Snoopy's usual sleeping place, but I guess the image of him lying there is iconic enough that most people will know.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.That is a good point. Snoopy is very well known.

[1]. A combination of some panels might work if we want to make his staying there absolutely clear. Still favoring 12.3 though.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Yes! Perfect. Somewhere between 4 and 10 panels, maybe.

I like 19.1
Momentum, a function of mass and velocity, is conserved between portals. In layman's terms: speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out.19.1 is fun, but there's too much small writing. I prefer 19.2.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Fair enough.
Momentum, a function of mass and velocity, is conserved between portals. In layman's terms: speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out.Either is good, but I think 19.2 is a little better. Incorporating 19.1 into the page example would be a good idea.
If I have to read the picture, I might as well just read the page. Supporting 19.2 as well.
Bump...anyone else?
Another imageless page. How about this◊ picture of Kyle and Amanda sleeping in the bathtub from Kyle XY? I can clean up the image a little if you guys like the idea. Or try and get a better screenshot from a You Tube video of that scene that I watched recently. Are there better suggestions?
