A while ago (like a couple of years) Arin said he likes TP, but I don't remember what video it was in.

The last Zelda game they were playing when heading to face that art guy who was turning people into paintings, with Arin also saying that most people didn't like Twilight Princess which I have no clue how accurate it was or not.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.
Dan tends to struggle with 3D games so the SOTC playthrough seems to be the one exception.
From my own experience posting online, Twilight Princess had probably one of the largest hype trains I've ever seen for a game. It made the Hype Backlash against it all the more apparent.

Twilight Princess had me SUPER excited, in a way I don't often get about most things nowadays, but granted I was a kid back then.
I'd say the reception to it was more mixed than anything, but now that Skyward Sword is the new controversial game some of the detractors may have warmed up to it a little more. I did, though I enjoyed Skyward Sword so the two things are unrelated.
Twilight Princess seems to be well received, but there's always the Zelda Cycle. Zelda games aren't considered good until the next one comes out 
But really, I can't think of many people who actively hate Twilight Princess, just a few who were dissatisfied.

The OoT playthrough is gold so far, especially episode 5. Every time Princess Zelda shows up in a Grump run, they always find a way to make her hilarious.

Can't say I am surprised. Polaris, and companies of that vein in general have been pulling a lot of shady stuff as of recent.
... if they find another viable way to gain an income source, I say Channel Awesome should leave Maker. I had no idea they weren't pay them a cent until two month ago!

Kinda wish they would drop Mario Maker for a bit. It's cool that Arin gets to show himself being competent at games by beating really hard levels, but the variety is kind of lacking.

Mario Maker is the new Happy Wheels. It doesn't have a definitive end, people love to play and make rage inducing levels, it draws in views for channels like crazy, and it's super popular in general(Probably thanks to YouTubers). I'm fairly certain why they've had Mario Maker going on for so long is that it's a money maker for the two.
Even though I don't like how long it's been going on, I'll at least give them credit for it not being entirely the two getting angry at the game and having conversations. Unlike that Mario World ROM hacks & "I wanna be the guy" games phase L Pers went through in the early years of LPing.

I for one like the Mario maker stuff and it's not 100% of the videos they put out since they are playing Zelda OOT right now too. Now if it was all Mario maker all the time then it would be a different story.

Good news: Fans who wanted to go to the CA live event would get tickets today to a Northeastern Game Grumps Live in Nyack, NY, with tickets going live this evening!
Bad news: It sold out an hour and 15 minutes after their release. It's for the best that I didn't even try then. It's just NYCC badges all over again.
Watching the video, apparently this playthrough was Dan's idea in response to the Sequelitis reaction.
