k so im an up and coming "underground" hip-hop artist/rapper and need help with some of my song lyrics for my second intro with the following beat http://youtu.be/1WOyFxkbTH8

What kind of things did you plan on rapping about?

well ironicslly the music section is not to be used for music "dumb right?", but im just freestyling basically, just coming up with some fresh hooks

You weren't posting any music there; all you did was create a thread and post barely legible lyrics. If you want to share your music, there is a thread at the top of that subforum (titled "So, tropers can do music too, right?"). And maybe post an actual track you've done. We cannot judge your music solely on the lyrics, especially if they're posted as a giant wall of text rather than being properly spaced out.

In order to do line breaks, either do a full break after each line, or do two \\ after each line. Learning formatting helps earn respect.

One reason why you probably aren't getting any input because all but one of two of us are songwriters, and none of us write rap.

I listen to some rap (like Kanye West and Nicki Minaj), but I only have a little knowledge of how to write rap. However, it seems that your style prefers braggadocio, without delving too much into the glam and urban subject matters which I'm more familiar with. Would you say your style is urban/Glam Rap, or something else?

Also, have you heard of Rap Genius? It's a detailed lyric site that a few famous rappers are members of, and it's worth looking into the interpretations of some of the songs you're taking inspiration from.

I'm not sure if it helps you any, but hopefully I am, even if only a little.

thnx, that did help some , i know about line breaks, just to lazy to format, but since it helps other readers i'll use them more often. uhh, yeah my stlye is leaning on braggadocio "mildly" not too cocky, but i try to add an east coast/dirty south vibe to it. and never heard of that site, i'll try using it.
