Loonatics is awesome.
The smartest idiot you will ever meet. It's kind of akin to Sonic Sat Am, a dark action show but with lots of whimsy. However there are times it fluctuates between being either way too cheesy or a bit too up it's own ass in trying to be edgier than standard Looney Tunes fare. I didn't find most of the Expies more likeable than the originals either, they were either generic action hero archetypes or nuanced blander versions of the original Looney Tunes (par maybe Rev, if only because the Road Runner is supposed to be Flat Character).

Hmmmm. I know it a shoe for little kids, but I love Jake And The Neverland Pirates. Its so stupid and awesome, and I don't know why. I think I mainly like it because it's easy for me to riff on, even though I like it, and I'm not very good at riffing on stuff I like.
All our wishes can come trueThe Tom And Jerry cartoons by Gene Deitch. Yes, I know, they look awful and all the characters move like they're having a seizure. But they still have their charms. The humour and storylines are much more varied — it's more than Tom chasing Jerry around.
I suppose Jake too. The main characters are rather generic, but the songs are great and the antics of Hook and his crew are highly entertaining. They make the show.
And maybe Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot. I'm not sure if the fury on that ever died down, but that whole "Belly Bros" thing was way overblown. It was a mistake - there wasn't any need for hard-core Friendship is Magic fans to all nuts about it, and I'm speaking as someone who watches that show. The new Care Bears is a reasonably good show and deserves to be judged on its merits.

Octonauts. I like cute things and British accents, so yeah.
OPEN DA DOOooOR!Friendship is Magic seems to be fairly polarizing (I'm guessing more due to Hype Backlash than anything else), but I like it.
I really enjoy The Super Mario Bros Super Show, as well as its Legend Of Zelda segment. While the SMBSS seems to be enjoyed in a nostalgic way by Super Mario fans, the Zelda fandom doesn't seem that fond of it.
I hear a lot of badmouthing of The Super Hero Squad Show, but I think it's a very cleverly written series that really takes advantage of the mythology of the Marvel Universe, with all its obscure references and characters.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)I agree with everything you just said. I even got my friend into SHS.
The SHSS is overhated in my view, also Back At The Barnyard
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpIf we're unafraid of mentioning younger kids shows, I may as well mention Thomas And Friends. I watched a couple of the despised new CGI ones for nostalgia's sake, while they talk down to toddlers a lot more and Rev Awdry would likely throth at the mouth with their lack of realism, they still have that personality to them and there's some novelty in seeing the engines fully voiced and animated (some characters like James act and sound exactly as I would have expected them to all those years ago). You could shove your infant in front of much worse anyway.

Considering I said Cyberchase a page ago, I'm surprised you just mentioned this now. '3'
BTW, does that have a DVD?
hold on, asking post #56 there was a Belly bros thing? What exactly happened there?
All our wishes can come true@Lunacrat A rouge PR person from Hasbro tried to promote Care Bears to Friendship is Magic's Periphery Demographic, suggesting that they should all be "Belly Bros." He was subsequently fired.
Or "Care Buddies" I think was suggested too.
Octonauts is polarizing? I wasn't aware of any particular issues with it.
For some reason, the phrase rouge PR person makes me lol.
Is Transformers Prime polarizing? I know some people around the wiki don't like it, and that Topless Robot guy doesn't like it, but I do.
All our wishes can come trueWhoa! Maybe I'm in the minority here, but that almost seems a little harsh for what seems to be just a gaffe, albeit a stupid one.
Yeah, TFP seems to be polarizing. I seem to encounter a greater number of people on the internet who love it over people who hate it, though.
Like someone else who posted a bit back, I also enjoyed The Batman, mostly for its animation and character designs. Also, Storm Hawks is, simply put, a Cliché Storm, but I watched the series from beginning to end and I'm currently writing a continuation fanfic for it, so I guess I like it.
Admittedly about fifty percent enlightenmentCaveman too.I actually like some aspects of John Kricfalusi body of work.
I don't know if that counts.
It does. The man can make oranges polarizing.
If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked.Damn it, folks, for the last time, this format of thread will not be tolerated.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
From what I've seen of Loonatics, it isn't as horrible as claimed. If you took out the Looney Tunes link people would likely complain about it a lot less. Even without though, it's not great, just a mediocre sci fi action series.
