It was an old Christmas Special Cartoon Network aired one year. I don't believe they ever aired it again. It was the story of how Santa Claus began and started off with him as a young child. It took him though many years and had a battle with elves and trolls or orcs or something.

It was ended with him almost being taken away by an angel but than getting the gift of immortality. Does anybody know which special I'm talking about? If so could you please tell me the name?

Did Santa look kind of like Link from the Legend of Zelda when he was a kid? If so, I think I know what you're talking about.

EDIT:If I remember right, it was The Life & Adventures of Santa Claus. There's two versions of the movie, the one you're looking for is probably the 2000 version.

I think so, but the cloak might have been brown and not green. I just can't remember that well so don't quote me on that.

But yes, he did kinda look like Link.

It looks kind of like it. I'm not quite sure though. Does it end with the angel of death almost taking him and does he have two Sidekicks throughout the movie? I ask because this movie looks like it has a slightly different art style and a higher budget. I could be wrong though.

[up]Oh yeah, that's Life and Adventures you're thinking of.

Fun fact, did you know that special's based on a book by L. Frank Baum?

Yes, it ends with the angel of death giving him immortality. Not sure about the sidekicks, but I do remember there being faeries and goblins in the movie though.
