What image could be suggested for the Furry Reminder trope page? I remember a Puss In Boots page image, but it was taken off because it didn't work.

That seems more like My Instincts Are Showing.

What exactly is the difference? I'd say it is that Furry Reminder requires it to actually be an animal, but the picture for My Instincts Are Showing proves that that is not the case.

From a quick reading, Furry Reminder includes "tells" that the character makes no attempt to hide - an anthropomorphic dog using his strong sense of smell to track down a fugitive, for example - while My Instincts Are Showing involves slips that the character would rather weren't seen - an anthropomorphic dog attempting to pass for human catching himself too late sniffing at someone, for example.

It might be worth noting that the description of Furry Reminder seems to also specify that the character otherwise behave as if human, potentially leading the audience into thinking that their non-human appearance or description is purely aesthetic.

Well, in that case, I think that suggestion fits under the trope we're looking for. Now, it'd be more of My Instincts Are Showing if she was in public (where she's generally trying to hide that she's an Exalted)

However, she's not trying to hide her nature, per se, since she's with someone who knows her.

It seems to me, that at least some of the examples overlap with My Instincts Are Showing.

Here's a suggestion, though it would probalby fit better on My Instincts Are Showing.

Edit: I also found this. Unfortunately it only really works as a full comic IMO.

I swear to God there used to be a really witty sig here.

The picture can't be NSFW, it can't be copyrighted, and it can't be an LOL picture.

Any suggestions that fit the TV Tropes rules.

Wasn't there a scene in Shrek series with Puss grooming himself in the feline matter? I don't recall what the image of him was previously, but he is kind of a poster boy for this trope.

[up] The one that comes to mind is the scene from Shrek 2 where Fiona asks "Shrek?!" and Puss, who's been licking himself, turns around and says "For you, baby, I could be." I'm pretty sure there's something like that in Puss in Boots...the "chasing the light" sequence and him lapping milk out of the shot glass come to mind.

[up][up][up] Suits the trope.

How does it look cropped and at wiki size?

[up]Not bad. 18.2 probably would work better, because it's a bigger closeup. Considering how little of the glass we see, the bigger closeup, the better.

[up]On the other hand, the first one gives a sense of scale. I like either of them.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

[up]The first one is framed better, only sides from the original still are cropped out. And yeah, maybe a bit more of space shown could help with establishing where he is. Maybe something in-between the two, like this?

One of them works. Not sure which is best. Probably #21 or #18.1
