Yeah, if it continues being Darker and Edgier like that, I might just drop it. Shame to see yet another story go down that path to get some attention.
Read up a few of some previously mentioned mangas. The Romeo and Juliet one feel fairly standard for a haremish manga, but decent enough. The separation of them feel a little too forced, though, since you'd imagine positive interaction would be a positive thing unless they actually want to go to war again. Also, they're a cute couple, rather than two students manga-awkwardly trying to become one, which is at least one step further than usual. (Edit: One other thing I forgot to mention that I like about the series is that when he tells her he respects her ability, he also shows it. None of that, "She's just a girl," crap you often see elsewhere, but rather real respect for what she can do, and how tough she is.)
Also read at least three isekai ones. The one with the guy who won the lottery felt the most pointless. It's a unique idea, but I don't think anything interesting is being done with it. He basically just got handed sacks of money he throws at problems so they go away and he gets the girl.
The one with the guy with the online store is a little more interesting. While he's not a fighter, he still gets some spectacular abilities, but mostly, it's refreshing to see someone who actually wants to explore the world just to see new places, rather than someone who either worries about minor details and need help with every little thing, or someone who's just a downer. And someone who goes to the standard adventurer's guild to hire people, rather than to join himself. Yet, anyway.
The one with the maid who became a mother is rather pleasant. Sometimes the setting doesn't seem internally consistent, but so far the MC doesn't really get any special powers, other than her social abilities and twice-learned cooking skills.

Check out my fanfiction!Dunno what you were talking about regarding It's My Life. The girl was just being press-ganged into cleaning up a friend's storeroom, and making contact with a grimoire that desperately wished to be read.
I think the reason why Romeo and Juliet is getting some popularity is specifically because of that good couple's dynamic, which honestly doesn't happen as often as it should (incidentally, I hope an anime announcement comes soon, it's getting that much attention).
I find the Isekai with the wolf and cooking to be entertaining because the MC really doesn't want to deal with the political bullshit being flung around.
Never read Maid to Mother. Gonna have to check it out sometime.
Gendai Majo no Shuushoku Jijou: Witches are rarely seen anymore, so when one girl heads out to a countryside town to do good deeds as training (so she can become both a good witch and an independent woman), no one takes up on her offers because she's just seen as a crazy girl. It doesn't help that she's not all that competent in magic or life skills. And thus begins the life of a young witch trying to make her mark in this world.

"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)Anyone else finding themselves unable to access Underdog Scans? It's the only source for translations for the Komi-san manga, and since a few days ago all I'm getting when I open the site is a page saying it's now protected; I've requested an invite twice by now, with no change or response whatsoever.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I've been just using a portal to read Komi-san (and incidentally, it has the entire collection of long-runners like One Piece and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure in an easy-to-read format, so that's a big plus).

"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)Kaze no Chinkorou — the cute, slice of life adventures of a wandering penis.
...
...And it's uncircumcised...
"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)Never known that to be a big thing in Japan one way or the other.
Then again it's not a question I've ever been inclined to ask, either.
I don't think it is, but that's not really the greatest concern.
Still, it's a kind and sweet creature, ignoring the fact that it's also a disembodied member.
"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)Like a moe Canterbury Tales?

... A wandering what now?!
<quick search> OMG, you weren't pulling my leg.
Yeah. Quality varies, but I'm amazed it hasn't been pulled with all the shit-ton of licensed manga it's sporting.
"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)... Why's that a "concern"?
I tend to just use whatever the translators recommend, which frequently is Batoto. If there's an official translation, it's usually not that hard to find.

Check out my fanfiction!Oh, was just making a mountain out of a molehill. Faux-horror.
Batoto's good, but it runs into the same issues where many manga just simply can't be shown, and others only limited chapters.
"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)I tend to gravitate to manga here because I like the tsukommu system that lets comments be added on the pages themselves.
I use that one for the tsukkomi system too. The comments themselves are sometimes Youtube quality, but it's still neat.
I've been referring to its sister site though. You can even read licensed manga like One-Punch Man and Shokugeki no Soma. All available chapters, even. And the tsukkomi system is there too, although less utilized.

"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)I've begun reading P and JK. The story starts with a sixteen-year-old girl named Kako Motoya, who with her friends pretended to be adults so that they can get guys in a mixer. During that, Kako found a guy just named Kouta. Unfortunately, Kako blurted out her real age, so she's forced home by Kouta. Later, she finds out Kouta is a policeman, and from there, she ends up in love with him.
Christ, things are happening fast.
Speaking of manga couples with questionable age differences...
My Boyfriend is a Jinyiwei: a 7-year-old girl is frequently left at home alone because her father works and travels overseas. Desperately craving for company, her wishes are answered when a handsome young man of the Jinyiwei (Ancient China's version of secret police) is discovered on her balcony. He has no idea how he ended up in the present time and is eager to find a way to return home, but the girl doesn't want to let him go.
"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)The first 4 chapters of Hotarubi no Tomoru Koro ni have been translated, for those interested.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.…And speaking of Ryuukishi07: Ren'ai Harem Game Shuuryou no Oshirase ga Kuru Koro ni, his latest manga collaboration started 6 months ago. If this sounds like a bad Light Novel title, well, that's kind of the idea.
Our male protagonist is Kohinata Asunaro (yes, that's his name), a perverted high-school boy whose hobby is to create an imaginary harem in his mind with the pretty girls of his school. He even wrote down various fantasies in a secret notebook. Enter Zepafur (wink), a child-looking demon that Asunaro accidentally releases from a bottle. She wants to show him her gratitude by making his harem fantasies come true with a little "game" where he will have to choose his one favorite girl at the end.
That was the prologue… And then comes the female protagonist, Furuwada Serika (wink wink), the resident top-of-the-class cool beauty. In the middle of class, her spirit is summoned in the demon realm by Zepafur (this time in adult form) who explains the rules of the game she and three other haremettes will have to play: each girl has two hearts, and depending on her actions can take a heart from another girl or lose one if she gets on Asunaro's bad side. If she loses both of her hearts, she's disqualified. At the end, there can only be one winner! And the losers? Well, they'll be sent to Hell where they'll experience an infinite loop of death for all eternity, with Zepafur making sure that the girls have a little taste of it beforehand. And that's when you realize why there's a "koro ni" in the title.
The problem is, Serika doesn't know anything about seduction, nor about Asunaro himself, who was barely on her radar until now; her only guide is the aforementioned fantasy notebook. And the rules forbid her to tell Asunaro what's going on.
So Serika has two options now: either fully participate in the game and make Asunaro think that what she'll do to him is All Just a Dream… Or find a way for all of the girls to make it out alive.
Is it a comedy? A horror series? After reading the first two chapters I'm… really not sure. The tone is as schizophrenic as you would expect from such a premise, and I have no idea how the story will unfold. The art is very "romcomy" alright. Unfortunately, there's no translation available yet. =[ Only the prologue and the first chapter on the Shonen Sirius website.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. That's incredible, but holy shit is that some audience-alienating stuff. I wonder who would eventually pick it up for translations.
Koi wa Amaagari no You ni: The former star of a high school track team suffered a debilitating injury, and has since taken up a part-time job at a family restaurant. There, she'd fallen for someone in the workplace: The restaurant's manager, a 45-year old man who already has a kid, has already divorced, and has already long given up his dreams and aspirations. In his own words, he's a deadbeat husk of a man with no future potential left. In spite of this, she confesses... and he rejects. Heedless, she continues to follow him, hoping to get closer and understand him more.
"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)That's a great, if mildly depressing series.
Yo, MarqFJA? Komi-san just updated.
The kitty manga updated too, and it's priceless.

"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)I think the best chapters of Komi-san are the ones with her doing slice of life stuff at home and around her family. She's such a goof when she's not constantly worrying about everything.
Check out my fanfiction!Speaking of which, Komi-san just got more updates.
In meam time It's my life got dark suddenly dealing with child abuse human trafficking and suspicious beings offering great power to little girls...
