The Cynical Brit has a video for it up.
Ugh. Looks as hard as expected.
Downloaded it last night, just beat it on Medium. Now to wait for the next installment/update. In the meantime, I think I'm gonna try to beat it on Hard or Very Hard.

Extra 1: Poochy Ain't StupidI Wanna Be The Gaiden?
I have a message from another time...I just beat the Easy Mode. Yay!
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireWasn't there one other game he was working on that wasn't related to IWBTG?
^^^^YOU FINISHED IT IN ONE NIGHT?!
Sounds like its shorter game than previous one?
Anyway, what about Brave Earth? Did that one ever get finished?
Can't seem to find out where the controls are and thus I fail the first challenge of IWBTG.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote? The game apparently only has the first world available right now.
Ugh… that makes me remember I still didn't get past the triple boss in the first game…
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. The first levels of IWBTGG are actually somewhat more logical and slightly easier than the first game. The first boss was actually surprisingly logical and not guide dangitry (Bowser/Tyson) nor nightmarishly difficult (Birdo). Granted this IS the first level.
Although Seriously Screw those damn floating spikes. 150 deaths attributed from one goddamn jump because of those things. And I only had 236 deaths for the first level.

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Oh goody. I can't wait for Trial and Error 2: Error and trial!
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!I watch a guy named Flo play that at Evo. I died laughing when he used Mario logic on the boss at stage 2. You jumped on an axe you retard.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2For those who don't get their daily dose of Angry Frustrated British guys:
Granted he was acting like a noob here, I managed to beat those sections in only a few deaths (Goddamn Remote spikes however...)
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I love how you can hear him slowly lose his composure and sanity while trying to get past the fish on the first level!
No, Kayin mentioned he's going back to that now, so the next part of Gaiden won't be for a while.
So uh, up to Donkey Kong. Not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do. I can get behind him and shoot all day long, but nothing is really happening.
EDIT: Oh of course I figure it out 5 seconds later.

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonProtip: Grappling hooks can carry stuff too.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Yup.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonHmm. I cannot seem to get past the swinging spike hatch in stage two. I foiled the first two crushers, but I cannot alseem to get enough air on two jumps to get past the spike hatch and bionic arm up to the next platform.
I have a message from another time...What I did was I jumped and moved back to make it move down, I jumped down before the crusher smooshed me, and I caught the bottom of the hatch with the grapple arm. The tricks is having enough length with the arm to swing wide and fast.
I'm stuck in the next room.

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI see. I was just thinking that catching the bottom of the hatch might work. Also, I found that you can foil the crusher every time by just standing on the lip of the thing, just outside the tube.
Donkey Kong was an interesting fight. After I found out the trick with the barrels, it even made the approach to him easier whenever I died again.
That was quite the malicious trick, though, after an entire stage teaching you that grabbing dangerous stuff will kill you.
Is there a save point in that next room? Short as it is, the hatch thing is just annoyingly finicky.

I have a message from another time...There is in Medium. I don't know if its there in Hard.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThe next room is the one with the rocket soldiers yes?
The pair on the other side of the spike pit can be trivialized. Stand in front of the barrel and spam fire. Your bullets can destroy the rockets making it so that the one on the left is harmless and the one below him is only a mild pain..
Getting across the pit though was a bit tricky. Make sure you only do one jump before grabbing the corner thingy, as you'll need the second jump to get far enough to latch onto the corner of the bit with the arm thing that knocks off your arm.
I'm currently stuck at the part where sawblade crushers come out of the wall and you have to do a vertical grab. Really really hard to time drops. And the click that happens before the next set comes in is too late to react to.

It is in 3 stage segments. Kayin has stated more sections will be released over time.
