Oh and here's what Doome looks like. (He's the fat guy in the chair.) [1]
So, saw GOTG. Great movie, want more. Ud, you know you need to do something related to that after-credits scene.
Due to this RP, and also the recent discovery of the Squirrel Girl trademark being filed, I've read every single known appearance of Squirrel Girl in any kind of important role. Particularly, three important arcs:
- Her villain ass-kicking times.
- Her fights with Deadpool
- Her experiences being the official Avengers baby-sitter. This one is the most interesting for a bunch of reasons. Like Deadpool, Squirrel Girl is at her best when interacting with other, more famous comic book characters.
I've been hit with a lot of inspiration, so I hope she gets something to do soon and gets to meet more of the characters.
Also, a Squirrel Girl movie would be the most amazing thing in the world.
Weeell, any idea what sort of thing you'd like her involved in? I could set up a super villain attack, an emerging super powered mob boss...anything goes, so long as it doesn't divert my current Latveria plans.
I'd love either. I was thinking give her a little team-up thing with some other character. I just really want as many opportunities for her to both interact and fight as possible.
Well, we could get some Goblin-themed douchebag to do a run-in at Ravencroft that causes a power failure that makes Parasite freak out, then Moon Knight and Booster have to fight him, and that causes a ruckus and gets dragged into the main city where, Oh, hey, Squirrel Girl's on patrol!
My various fanfics.PLEASE do not go for the Squirrel-Girl-Beating-Major-Villains plots, I always hated those. Yes I know it was a joke, but not only they made no sense, they were an insult to those heroes who fought so hard to defeat those villains. She should fight Spider-Man level villains, at the most.
THAT said, I don't mind when she's cute or funny. Didn't we have Deadpool show up a while ago, only to disappear later? You could always have SG stumble upon him and kick his ass. That I wouldn't mind.
Thank you sijo, to be honest I was a bit worried of that too, but I think it was mostly Liz and Uncan, great writting.
@ squirelgirl godmode
Imo the authors handled the situation badly as they too Ditko's joke too seriously. Personally I would have implied she is a reality warper rather than the whole "Thanos wasn't a clone, joke or simulacrum" Armed with Canon fight we got, that way they could follow the joke and keep their villains reputations intact.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.Spider-Man level makes sense.
Parasite would be a great fight choice. Booster's the pretty boy and Moon Knight's the dark brooding one. Squirrel Girl's in the middle~
Unfortunately, there hasn't been a Squirrel Girl serial yet. She's due for one. But basically, I'm focusing on her perky teenage mind being stuck in an adult body, and her unstoppable desire to be a hero and beat up bad guys. Also how her lips taste like hazelnut.

Again, I offer up for her joining Rocket to help investigate Oscorp. Also, Liz, PM.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!Speaking of cute teenage girl superheroes, check this out, guys! [1]
I love it; it's simple, fun, and well-written. Extra points for the ethnic elements.
Sorry my posts have been sporadic and crappy recently.
"@[=g3,8d]&fbb=-q]/hk%fg"Don't worry you are doing it fine. But its understanable when lofe get in the way :).
@Liz I hope this helps and forgive me if I am being too obvious, but as a suggestion to the judge's sentence is that they always decide based on "the best interest of the child" that is even if there are other rights at stake, children rights should prevail.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all. There we go. The trial finally drawing to a close, and a little Warehouse something for Doreen to get involved in. For future reference, guys, I'm gonna be having an internship meeting every Wednesday at 9 GMT, and it's gonna eat up a couple of hours so don't expect much from me then (not that I'm the best at keeping up with posts anyway...)
Also, the thought's occurred to me: Osborn's been a bit of a non-entity for a while, and now, between Rocket, STRIKE and the pre-planned Creature Commandos thing, the dude is everywhere all of a sudden. Whoof.
How Captain America: The Winter Soldier Should Have Ended
Love this show. Extra points for the theme song reference (I remember it!)

Thank you Liz.! and also Uncan :)
I hope by this point it feels she is at least a little bit worthy of the power of Shazam! .
Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.@Saturn: When Rocket meets Squirrel Girl, I want him to be directly behind her. This is very important for their first meeting.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!Storm's been trying not to call Tony by his first name in front of other people, but at this point I don't even remember if she's slipped up (barring really emotional moments). But that's a thing she's been trying to do, FYI.
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlSo, I just came from seeing Guardians and well... it was awesome in my opinion, the trailers set it up as a good times, not serious, big adventure-y type stuff... you know, a just a big good fun rump! And it delivered, in spades. Well paced, well acted, good comedy, good characters, its about as good 'Avengers Eve' movie we can get, being that its the one from Phase 2 that in my personal experience recreated better the feel of The Avengers.
Also I was laughing my ass of leaving the movie theatre, Howard the fucking Duck guys!

The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.I'd like to thank RPG and Liz for indulging me, and Liz in particular for carrying most of the action and making it sing. It was a joy to read.
Swear to god, if Rocket wasn't already taken I would have signed up as the Guardians of the Galaxy in Jump City already.

If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~you could still pick another version of the team
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song. You could sign up as Groot. Of course, then your dialog would be limited to just "I am Groot" . (Then again, it could be an interesting role-playing challenge to express yourself with such a limitation.)
RPG: I hope you don't think I'm picking on Chloe, I don't really mind her coming along I'm just trying to write Access they way I think he would react, and I don't see why bringing along a civilian on an already-dubious mission would be a good idea.)
It's ok, the original plan was that she would follow Darwin on his adventure but now that he is going to Latveria she is following him.
She wouldn't be fighting supervilians anytime soon. but she is a journalist!, her job is to get to the truth regardless of any apparent danger (without being suicidal of course). It would be too out of character for her to just run away because it's dangerous.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.If ya'll just want to Hand Wave everyone onto the private jet/Miss Martian's ship/I don't care which, I'm good with that. We've pretty well done the scene in the tower I think, and a whole bunch of "and then they drove to the airport and went through security and such or whatever they need to do to get on the Bioship" might drag. Just putting it out there.
Easing back into life one step at a time
Liz: Here you go [1]. Other than his use of time travel technology, Doome was your generic Mad Scientist. I actually have a comic with him in it (an issue of all-Star Squadron) buried somewhere in my collection. Maybe in his travels he stopped for a little one-night stand at a gypsy camp in Latveria? Even in the distant past... his name may have been Americanized to Doom by Victor when he went to study at ESU.
Speaking of which, in the comics, Latveria has long been ruled by dictators- Doom is just more benevolent (to them) than most. In fact it was the previous ruler causing his parents' deaths that drove him to conquer the realm. Of course, the citizens know better than to cross him in any way. Visiting heroes will not find help from them.
Oh and btw, I agree that everyone involved in Mary's trial has done a great job! To be sincere, I thought I was going to get bored by it, but it's turned into a well-written drama. Congratulations!
