Well like I edited to say I'm hardly an expert but if you really want my two bits on occasion then I'd be happy to I guess? I did know a guy back in the day who wound up traveling to Japan for a while to study what he claimed was practical, grounded ninjutsu as far back lineagewise as he could track down so I guess I wouldn't mind trying to help.
Keep in mind this is comics though, so trying to go 100% realism isn't always effective writing. I know for one thing I try not to with Danny at least not all of the time, plus stuff like chi techniques, pressure point manipulation/nerve strikes and the like exist and work in-universe so taking artistic license can be a good thing!
Alright, thanks. And that's why I said 'grounded', not 'realistic'; I'm already peppering Psylocke's fighting style with subtle uses of her telekinesis (so her opponents rarely know she even has telekinesis, let alone telepathy), so 'realism' has long since been thrown out the window. It'd still be good to have her combat moves make sense, however.
@GG: Thanks for helping me with Access. As I said I wasn't obsessed with doing that particular scenario, but I saw no other option without someone else interfering. (This is how I write, folks: what I think the character would do, not what *I* want him to do.)
@Meanken- just a quick question, X-23 doesn't have adamantium in her bones or claws, right? Never was clear about that.
She has in in her claws, but not her bones. The way they did it was basically they surgically removed the claws (while she was still conscious), coated them in the metal, then put them back in once it was done. For whatever reason, they never choose to do the full weapon X procedure on her.
"For whatever reason, they never choose to do the full weapon X procedure on her." Maybe they were thinking the metal plating might stop her bones from growing? Would it?
I couldn't say. There's probably a reason given somewhere in the comics, but I've never read any of the X-men comics so I do no know.
They probably just didn't have enough adamantium for it or they didn't feel like spending that much.
TV Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!IIRC, the adamantium in Wolverine's bones means he heals more slowly because he has adamantium poisoning. Less adamantium = faster healing factor. I admit I could be wrong.

That I can confirm as accurate, as that was stated in the wiki when I was doing research for the signup. Might well have been the motivation
I do feel bad about only writing a line and a half, but I couldn't think of anything else.
TV Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!Also also: how come a lot are coming to the conclusion that Luthor's troopers have powerful weapons?
Cause they hurt Power Girl.
Rogue, at least, is on to something, even if it is a half-PTSD something.

Wizard Needs Food Badly@Demo from last page: oh yeah no she totally changed back from Sandman in full view of anyone nearby
Which uhm, people can make of what they will if they reckon they were nearby
Very sorry for not doing much in the way of posting, and for not giving Sijo a Yes/No answer when I had the chance. Really, though, I wouldn't have minded either way what Access did to the troops. If he had ported them all directly to jail, it might have given Luthor a chance to rant about Access' flagrant ignorance of due process (no doubt the same speech he'd give if Superman had done the same thing to Luthor himself).

By the way, please let me know if I'm overselling IF during this fight, I'm concerned that I am in fact but I'm not sure.
Na. I'm gonna have her slow down, start to notice said slowdown right before leaving a nice opening to get hit in. Feel free to do some damage, break a few ribs or something, and then I'll have her leave via clawing her way up a wall.
Incidentally, I have no interest in making things easy for Rocket and Blue Beetle. I've learned my lesson from Osborn, and I'm upping the ante on security and secrecy measures when it comes to Luthor.
It's OK, Liz. Real Life must come first for all of us.
And Access knows about due process, he was going to take the intruders to The Raft because the other heroes seemed incapacitated (and if they could take down Power Girl, he knew he was no match for them.) He was hoping the hi-tech security there could do it for him. Still, a shouting match between him and Luthor would have been fun- Superman he isn't!
Btw, the X-23/IF fight has been great so far.

Awesome, would have felt bad otherwise.
TV Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!Would it be safe to assume that the street outside the hotel is starting to accumulate ambulances and such?
@Adamantium: Actually, I had it so that Wolverine's healing factor is powerful enough to completely heal any damage to his body short of actual limb/organ removal. I'm assuming that Deadpool's is more powerful to due his cancer being insanely hyperaggressive thanks to Wolverine's DNA spliced with his and 23's being weaker due to her being a clone meant to be somewhat disposable.
Plus, I alluded that his healing factor is the only thing keeping him alive, thanks to the adamantium poisoning.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!Er, no, "More powerful" in this case means hers works faster then Wolvies.
"Unlike Wolverine, the presence of Adamantium in her body is not sufficient enough to interfere with her bones' normal function of generating blood corpuscles, although it is as possible that some degree of her immune system is distracted by the presence of the foreign substance."
From the official wiki.
@DBlade: If you don't mind, maybe you can help me every now and then with Psylocke's stuff over in the Jump City thread? She's supposed to be an extremely skilled Ninjutsu practicioner (as in more grounded martial arts, not Naruto ) and I'm going to feel pretty embarrassed if I get something wrong now that you're here.
